In order to prevent the virus transmission, masks are encouraged by everyone concerned for their safety. Which is why it is of great help to take note whether you have enough at home as you are always going to use them outside, especially if you are using disposable ones, since realizing you have run out of masks can be a great inconvenience.

One should always be ready if someone in your household is susceptible to running an occassional fever, and it  is especially helpful when someone in your household is possibly dealing with symptoms. It can also provide insight when you are calling your doctor as well.

There are times when you get sick, and this will make your immune system vulnerable and you may find it difficult to fend off viruses. This is why stocking up on medical care is essential, so that you can be ready to combat viruses on days when you feel ill. Things such as pain and fever reducers, cough medicines and tissues will come a long way when it comes to combatting sick days and protecting yourself from COVID-19.

Of course, your medical supply kit may vary according to the needs of each individual at home as well. Taking extra steps such as having allergy medicines at hand in case of emergencies are always good to have, too.

According to https://www.yalemedicine.org/, Dr. Denyse Lutchmansingh, MD, a Yale Medicine pulmonologist, says pulse oximetry would be beneficial to people who have COVID-19 symptoms. “If you are symptomatic that is a reasonable time to check your oxygen. That is something we’ve been trying to do from an outpatient standpoint. We have COVID-19 patients who we are monitoring at home and one of the deciding factors for bringing them into the hospital is their oxygen level.”

In these trying times, many are wondering if they would need one at home, hence it is important to research what devices would most be suited to your household, such as when there is someone in proximity with regular breathlessness, which can be a symptom of an illness which requires a pulse oximeter.
