Two flagship events, the World Marketing Forum, and the National Marketing Conference were held at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City on November 6 and November 7.

This year is particularly special as PMA’s 70th anniversary was celebrated and honored that the Asia Marketing Federation has chosen the Philippines to host the 4th World Marketing Forum, bringing together marketing professionals and thought leaders from across the globe.

With the theme “MARKETING WARS: Episode 6.0 and Beyond,” both events delved into the intersection of human ingenuity and technological innovation, exploring the future of marketing in a rapidly evolving landscape.

The two-day conference featured inspiring keynotes, in-depth discussions, and networking opportunities with over 1,700 local and international marketing professionals

The WMF on November 6 focused on “The Force of Marketing Awakens: The Strategic War for Excellence,” featuring discussions on immersive marketing, integrating physical and digital experiences, overcoming digital fatigue, and operational excellence. Highlights included:

  • Keynote by Prof. Philip Kotler, the Father of Modern Marketing (via Zoom)
  • Live address by Hermawan Kartajaya, Founder of the Asia Marketing Federation
  • Insights from Syed Ferhat Anwar, President of the Asia Marketing Federation (Bangladesh); Roger Wang, 2nd Vice President of the Asia Marketing Federation (Singapore); and Jack Yao, 1st Vice President of the Asia Marketing Federation (China)

Meanwhile, the NMC covered topics such as Marketing to Next-Gen Consumers (Gen Z and Gen Alpha), Purposeful MarketingSDGs & Sustainability, and AI integration in marketing last November &. Industry leaders, including Jim Lafferty, Global CEO of FINE Hygienics, and Donald Patrick Lim, Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME, shared their insights on the future of marketing leadership.
