Angel Locsin didn’t mince words as the award-winning actress took to social media to urge everyone to vote wisely for the upcoming elections on May 2022. 

The celeb uploaded a photo on February 9 on her Instagram account which had the phrase “Never Again” written on it, and she further underscored that citizens must choose their candidates responsibly. 

“Ngayong simula na ang kampanya, At ang mga pulitiko are putting their best foot forward, PLEASE LANG — Kilatising mabuti ang bawat pulitiko. Huwag bumoto ng may bahid ng kurapsyon, Sinungaling, Nagmamanipula ng batas, Tamad, Malabo at hindi makatotohanang plano sa bansa.”

“Kaya kung napasaya ko man kayo kahit paano, o kahit para sa sarili nyo na lang, please lang, VOTE RIGHTLY! Pag isipan rin kung sino ang susuportahan,” she added. 

It is important to note that Angel has been very vocal about her political stance, and has been known to criticize the government and its officials. In 2020, she called on her fellow celebrities to speak up after the National Telecommunications Commission ordered the shutdown of ABS-CBN’s franchise.

Back in December, the star was handpicked by Tatler Asia as one the Most Influential Filipino personalities in the showbiz industry.
