Following his explosive global breakout with Billboard Hot 100-charting single “Big Dawgs”, Indian hip-hop force Hanumankind is levelling up with his debut headlining tour, taking his blockbuster live show across China, Australia and Southeast Asia this summer, including a four-city run across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Presented by Collective Minds in collaboration with Clockenflap, the Kerala-born, Houston-raised rapper launches the next leg of his “OTW Tour”, marking a defining new chapter for one of the most compelling voices emerging from the global rap landscape.  

Sooraj Cherukat’s early career was shaped by formative years in Houston, Texas, with his sound bridging Southern hip-hop grit with his Indian cultural identity. Influenced by legends such as Three 6 Mafia and DJ Screw, his cadence carries the authority of Southern rap while his subject matter often explores the tensions and realities of southern Indian street life. His music boldly navigates ambition, survival and identity, pairing uncompromising vocal intensity with undeniably catchy hooks.

In 2024, “Big Dawgs” catapulted Hanumankind onto the international stage, debuting at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100, amassing over 37 million streams on Spotify, and generating more than 111 million views on TikTok. The track’s impact extended beyond streaming platforms, with its action-movie-style music video shot inside a maut ka kuan (Wall of Death), causing a global stir and amassing 285M views on Youtube to date. Filmed inside the towering wooden barrel structure where motorcyclists perform gravity-defying stunts, the visual sees Hanumankind pacing the pit as riders circle him at full speed—a jaw-dropping display that quickly became one of the most talked-about music videos of the year.

The momentum intensified when rap heavyweight A$AP Rocky delivered an official remix of “Big Dawgs,” marking a significant co-sign from one of hip-hop’s most influential figures. The collaboration cemented Hanumankind’s presence firmly within the global rap conversation.

The newly announced tour dates arrive on the heels of Hanumankind’s debut North American headlining run—an early-career milestone where the breakout artist sold out rooms in major markets including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Chicago—following his first U.K. and European run that underscored his international pull, even as an injury near the end of the tour forced him to reschedule those North American shows. Now he’s back in full stride and moving even faster.
