Art in Island is the first 3d art museum in the Philippines and the largest mixed media museum in the country that is located in Cubao Expo, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. Its highlight is an interactive art exhibition made by Korean visual artists.
Pre-pandemic, the museum featured mostly gaudy, kiddie, playful, and interactive optical illusions but the revamped version features world-class projection-heavy galleries that are feasts for the eyes.
As soon as you enter, waterfall projections on both sides of the door will greet you.
First time visitors might be surprised that no shoes are allowed inside. Instead, they can bring socks or purchase anti-slip socks from the souvenir store inside. The museum also features relaxing music, cool bean bags, and creative mixed media art.
They have several immersive projection rooms like ‘The Secret of Lights’ and there is no time limit in exploring any of the rooms. Here are some of the sights to marvel at in the rooms: fireworks, Mona Lisa, giant tidal waves, a firefly-lit forest with glowing butterflies, a serene beach with an elephant, a frozen landscape with a tiger, and many more.
The museum is also home to the Jeongwon restaurant which features authentic Korean cuisine and is in demand among many foodies.
Art in Island is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:30am to 9:30pm. Walk-ins are accepted and the rates are as follows:
Adult – 850php
Student – 600php-700php
Senior Citizen/PWD – 600php

Gcash payments are accepted and for those who have their own vehicles, parking is no problem because of the large open spaces. Birthday celebrators get a free pass when visiting during their birth month as long as they bring a valid identification card as well as one paying companion, who’d automatically get a 10% discount.
Those who come as a group, with a minimum of 15 persons, shall get 100php off every ticket. The founder of the Art in Island Museum is Yun Jae Kyoung, who worked with 18 Korean master painters, all specially flown in for this undertaking.
