The foundation of a strong marriage begins with love, and the Bible defines this love in a way that goes beyond emotions. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 emphasizes the sacrificial and enduring nature of true love. For a husband, this means prioritizing the well-being of his wife, showing patience even in challenging times, and offering support through thick and thin.

In Ephesians 5:25, husbands are called to love their wives “just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” This passage highlights the depth of love required in marriage—love that is selfless and willing to sacrifice.
