Christian Singer Forrest Frank Responds After Losing 30,000 Followers Over Charlie Kirk Post

The Christian music world has been stirred this week as singer Forrest Frank responded to an unexpected wave of backlash. After posting a heartfelt tribute to the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Frank revealed he lost 30,000 followers overnight. Instead of retreating or softening his message, the artist chose to stand firmly on his faith and deliver an even stronger declaration about where his true priorities lie.

The controversy began shortly after news broke of Kirk’s assassination, an event that shocked communities across the United States. Frank, who had previously shared how Kirk once spoke positively about his music, took to Instagram to honor him. In his video, Frank spoke openly about the heaviness many felt in the wake of Kirk’s death and encouraged his audience to consider eternal truths. “Charlie was so bold with his message,” he said, before reminding listeners that “Jesus Christ is the only way.”

This proclamation drew both encouragement and sharp criticism. Within hours, Frank’s social media metrics shifted dramatically, with tens of thousands unfollowing his account. The singer, however, showed no signs of regret. In a follow-up post, he addressed the loss directly. “Thirty thousand people unfollowed me because I posted about Charlie Kirk and I said that Jesus Christ is Lord,” he shared. His response was as bold as it was surprising: “Good.”

Frank went on to explain that his platform was never meant to serve as a mere highlight reel of music or lifestyle content. Instead, he expressed conviction that it should be used to share what matters most: the Gospel. “I don’t want you to follow me. I don’t want you to track my music. I don’t want you to come to my shows,” he said. “I only want you to do one thing, and that is follow Jesus Christ, the King of all kings.”

The statement has resonated deeply with many of his remaining followers, who applauded his courage to put faith above fame. Rather than focusing on the numbers, Frank emphasized that eternity outweighs any temporary platform or attention. He urged listeners to repent, turn to God, and live boldly for their beliefs, adding that something had shifted in the nation since Kirk’s death.

His comments come at a time when many public figures shy away from speaking directly about faith, fearing backlash or alienation. Frank, however, demonstrated the opposite—choosing to double down on truth even at personal cost. In the description accompanying his video, he admitted past regret over allowing his social media presence to become “lukewarm” and pledged to use it moving forward as a tool for sharing the hope of Christ.

Forrest Frank’s decision has become a defining moment in his career. By refusing to compromise, he reminded fans that music may inspire, but it is faith that endures. His message is clear: followers may come and go, but the call to stand boldly for Christ remains. In a culture often dominated by silence and caution, Frank’s response stands out as a rare act of conviction and courage.
