Fashion collaborations are often where creativity meets comfort, and the newly launched “Future Heirlooms” capsule by Guest in Residence and Madhappy is no exception.

Quietly unveiled on May 22, the 18-piece collection is the result of two like-minded brands joining forces to blend craftsmanship, quality, and a shared love for wearable ease.

At the heart of the collaboration is Guest in Residence, the luxury knitwear label founded by Gigi Hadid. Known for its dedication to elevated staples in premium yarns, the brand brings a refined, tailored sensibility to modern casualwear.

In contrast, Madhappy, a Los Angeles-based label built on vintage washes and optimistic design language, injects a distinctly laid-back energy into every piece. Together, they’ve created a line that captures both polish and play—perfect for lounging, layering, or stepping out in understated style.

Named Future Heirlooms, the capsule includes waffle-knit hoodies and joggers, rib-knit polos with matching shorts, zip-up sweaters, and cozy knit cargo pants. The pieces reflect Madhappy’s signature hand-stitched detailing and time-worn feel, while Guest in Residence maintains the sleek structure of its silhouettes. The textures feel broken-in yet luxurious, making each item feel like a favorite from the first wear.

Prices range from $150 to $275, and the collection is exclusively available at madhappy.com. With Gigi Hadid fronting the campaign—shot by photographer Stevie Dance in a minimalist studio setting—the drop feels intentional, personal, and highly curated. Each photo captures Hadid effortlessly styled in the capsule, underscoring the collection’s purpose: timeless pieces meant to live in and live with.

What sets this collection apart isn’t just the design—it’s the collaboration itself. A spokesperson noted that both brands already had a deep mutual appreciation for craftsmanship, making the partnership “a natural fit.”

There’s also a larger intention at play. Madhappy, which continues to fund mental health initiatives through its foundation and Local Optimist magazine, is focusing on partnering with women-led labels in 2025. This thoughtful approach to collaborations ensures the creative process is just as meaningful as the final product.

While it’s easy to get caught up in the limited-edition nature of drops like this one, Future Heirlooms offers more than hype. It’s a wearable capsule that bridges heritage-style knits with a modern, relaxed aesthetic. Each piece seems designed to last—built not only for now, but for years down the line. With the line selling fast, it’s clear this collaboration has struck a chord with style-savvy shoppers looking for comfort without compromising on detail.

Whether you’re layering up for a cool summer night or planning your early autumn look, this collection is a celebration of form, function, and the quiet confidence of two creative forces working in harmony.
