Iya Villania is not just a beloved TV host and actress, but she’s also a supermom who continues to balance her growing family and career with ease. Recently, she surprised fans with the exciting announcement that she and husband Drew Arellano are expecting their fifth child!

The news, which came as a mix of surprise and joy, was humorously shared during her return to GMA Network’s “24 Oras” on September 4, 2024.

Veteran news anchor Mel Tiangco couldn’t resist teasing Iya, saying, “Welcome back from your two-day vacation. Ha? Tapos may baby nang dala at pang-lima? Ano ba yun, Drew? Ngayon lang ako nakarinig ng ganyan, ha?” This lighthearted banter had everyone in the studio laughing, with Iya taking it all in stride.

As a mom to four adorable kids—Primo, Leon, Alana, and Astro—Iya’s life is already full of love and joy, and with another baby on the way, the Arellano household is about to get even busier. But despite the challenges of raising a big family, Iya remains unfazed, proving that she can juggle motherhood and a thriving career like the pro she is.

What’s truly inspiring about Iya is her ability to manage both family and work effortlessly. Even with four kids in tow and one on the way, she continues to shine in her career as the bubbly host of “Chika Minute” on “24 Oras”. Her return to the show was met with warm welcomes from co-anchors Pia Arcangel and Emil Sumangil, who were just as excited about her pregnancy as the viewers.

Beyond “Chika Minute”, Iya’s work doesn’t stop. She and her husband Drew host the popular travel show “Byahe ni Drew”, where they explore beautiful destinations across the Philippines, sharing their adventures with their fans.

Their dynamic on the show and their undeniable chemistry is one of the reasons why viewers love watching them—because they make everything look fun, whether they’re traveling or parenting.

One of Iya’s secrets to staying on top of things is her dedication to fitness. Throughout all of her pregnancies, she’s been a champion for staying active and healthy. She frequently shares workout routines on social media, motivating other moms to prioritize their health, too. And let’s be honest, it’s pretty amazing how she manages to stay fit while raising a big family. Iya’s commitment to fitness is not just about looking good—it’s about having the energy to keep up with the busy demands of motherhood and her career.

But what truly makes Iya relatable is how candid she is about her parenting journey. She’s open about the ups and downs of raising kids and doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges. It’s refreshing to see a celebrity mom be so down-to-earth, making her even more admired by her fans, especially fellow moms who look up to her.

As Iya and Drew prepare to welcome their fifth child, their life is set to become even more of a whirlwind. But knowing how gracefully Iya handles everything that comes her way, there’s no doubt she’ll continue to balance motherhood, career, and everything in between with her signature smile and positive energy.

Her story is one of love, resilience, and endless laughter—proving that with a supportive partner, a fit lifestyle, and an open heart, you can thrive even when life gets a little hectic. Congratulations to Iya and Drew on this exciting new chapter for their beautiful family!
