Khloé Kardashian, in her “Khloe in Wonderland” podcast, recently shared how her Christian faith became a guiding force through the difficult times following her split from Tristan Thompson.

After their turbulent relationship ended in 2021, Khloé turned to her faith for strength and solace, explaining that she used prayer as a way to process the emotional pain. “I am a Christian. I used to take theology in school, and I love theology,” she shared, highlighting her deep connection with the spiritual practice and her search for meaning beyond the hardships she faced.

Her reflections are rooted in the idea that life is a journey with lessons to be learned, often from challenging experiences. Khloé emphasized that the pain of betrayal by Tristan was not about her, but rather about his own past traumas that he had not healed from. “It’s never about the immediate relationship. It’s always from years past,” Khloé explained, suggesting that personal struggles often have deeper roots that transcend the current relationship.

Khloé’s faith played a key role in helping her avoid the trap of bitterness or retaliation. She shared that her response to Tristan’s infidelity was never about seeking revenge or playing tit for tat. “It’s not eye for an eye,” she said, adding that such an approach would only prevent growth for the person at fault.

Instead, Khloé learned to handle adversity with respect and kindness, understanding that the challenges she faced were not about her, but were part of a larger, divine plan for both her and those around her.

Through this process, Khloé came to the realization that her journey was not meant to mirror the actions of others. She recognized that the pain she endured was not a personal reflection but an opportunity for growth. “That wasn’t my journey; it was a part of my journey, but that wasn’t a reflection of me,” Khloé stated.

One of the key insights Khloé shared was how faith helped her avoid carrying emotional baggage into future relationships. While acknowledging the importance of learning from past experiences, she emphasized that she didn’t want to let those lessons harden her heart.

Instead, she embraced the idea of carrying wisdom without letting past trauma dictate her future. “I’m really big on not taking all of that baggage with me,” Khloé said, underscoring her desire to approach life with an open heart, particularly for the sake of her children, who she hopes will have a positive view of love and relationships.

Khloé’s spiritual journey through her struggles with Tristan shows how faith can be a powerful tool for resilience and healing. By leaning into her belief system, she found a way to rise above the pain and regain control of her own narrative, ultimately finding peace and personal strength in the process.
