Lita Global, a fast-rising force in the gaming technology space, has officially established its regional headquarters in Singapore — a move that reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the local gaming community and to Southeast Asia as a whole.

Lita Global is a Teammate-On-Demand platform that enables gamers to connect, interact, and earn by pairing players through skill-based matchmaking and in-app social features. With over 30 million registered users and 1.5 million monthly active users across Southeast Asia, the platform addresses growing demand for monetisation and meaningful in-game experiences. As the region’s gaming industry accelerates, Lita is expanding its presence by establishing Singapore as its strategic hub for talent, technology, and regional growth.

Lita’s decision to choose Singapore as its base stems from the country’s role as a regional leader in digital infrastructure. With strong government backing for the digital economy, access to a highly skilled workforce, and a supportive regulatory environment, Singapore provides the ideal launchpad for scaling operations across Asia.

To support its growth locally, Lita is rolling out a series of initiatives tailored to Singapore’s gaming community. These include collaborating with gaming and esports organisations to drive user adoption, hosting and sponsoring tournaments and industry events, and forming strategic partnerships with universities and tech institutions to nurture future gaming talent. The company is also enhancing its platform with features designed around local preferences and playstyles.

“Singapore isn’t just a strategic location — it represents everything we value as a company: digital ambition, diverse talent, and a forward-thinking gaming culture,” said Yihao (Daniel) Zhang, Founder and CEO of Lita. “We’re excited to grow here, hire here, and most importantly, support local gamers through lasting impact.”

Over the next 12 months, Lita will focus on increasing brand awareness, deepening user engagement, and forming strategic partnerships with local gaming entities. This includes launching new features tailored to Singapore’s gaming preferences, strengthening relationships with esports teams and content creators, and driving marketing campaigns that resonate with the local player base. Beyond growth, Lita’s long-term ambition is to play a leading role in shaping Singapore’s gaming economy — not just as a platform provider, but as a community builder.

Lita’s leadership team brings strong expertise in technology and gaming. Yihao (Daniel) Zhang, a UC Berkeley graduate and former senior engineer at LinkedIn and OpenTable, previously founded an interest-based social networking startup in China backed by ZhenFund. Drawing on his experience in Silicon Valley and insights from Southeast Asia’s growing gaming market, he launched Lita to address the gap in gamer monetisation and in-game social interaction. He later brought on Zhongtian (Tracy) Xu — an NYU graduate and former Facebook engineer — as co-founder and Head of Product. Together, they have grown the company to over USD 28 million in annual GMV, supported by a team of more than 120 employees across Southeast Asia, including in Jakarta, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, and Seoul.

With Singapore now at the centre of its regional operations, Lita Global is positioning itself to become the go-to platform for gamers who want more than just a game — they want a career, a community, and a future.
