The Gold Gala is a yearly event that acknowledges outstanding achievements in the Asian Pacific region through the A100 awards. The night was especially noteworthy for the presentation of the A100 list, honoring the 100 most influential Asian Pacific figures in the US, most especially those who were exemplary in the field of film and television.

At this year’s Gold Gala, Liza Soberano stood out and rubbed elbows with some of Hollywood’s most eminent figures as she made her way up the worldwide scene. She wore a stunning black Mark Bumgarner modern terno that sparkles whenever the light hit it.

The momentous evening included a Gold Carpet with international press, interactive activities, ground-breaking announcements, and a carefully curated guest list with hundreds of multicultural thought leaders and luminaries.

On her Instagram post, Liza considers it a “golden moment” to have been invited to this momentous occasion. The actress made quite the impression on the prominent attendees already in her second year of attending one of Hollywood’s most renowned parties as she was observed speaking and exchanging candid moments with notable executives and celebrities. 

Some of the notable figures who attended the event are: South Korean indie rock band The Rose; Pakistani-Canadian actress Iman Vellani who’s part of the upcominmg film The Marvels; 2PM’s main rapper and prominent K-drama actor Taecyeon; Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson; Oscars and Golden Globes Best Supporting Actor Ke Huy Quan; Tony Award winner Lea Salonga; Tiktok megainfluencer and musician Bella Poarch; and many more.

“You can also win to if you just believe in yourself. Dreams are something for you to keep so please don’t let anyone take that away,” said Huy Quan in his speech. This presence clearly shows that Liza’s trajectory towards growing her audience to a more global scale is on track as her career takes a more international turn.

The Gold Gala is organized by Gold House, who describes themselves as the gamechanger when it comes to giving Asia Pacific talents a platform in Hollywood.
