April 2025 marks a significant chapter in beauty and haircare, as OGX unveils actress and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell as its first-ever global brand ambassador. Known for her standout roles in Pretty Little Liars and You, Mitchell steps into the spotlight for OGX’s new campaign as “The Fixer”—a character created to tackle hair damage with precision, style, and a touch of cinematic flair.

The campaign supports the launch of OGX’s latest innovation: the Bond Protein Repair Collection. This science-backed line is designed to deliver effective, affordable solutions for everyday hair damage. With Mitchell at the forefront, the brand aims to offer real answers to real hair problems—from excessive heat styling to the effects of coloring and environmental stress.

Mitchell, who regularly undergoes multiple hair transformations for her roles and photo shoots, shared how personal this campaign feels. “My life is busy, and my hair goes through a lot,” she said. “OGX products keep my hair healthy, shiny, and protected.” Her new role as The Fixer aligns seamlessly with her own beauty journey—dealing with the common struggles of maintaining hair health in a fast-paced lifestyle.

The Fixer campaign is OGX’s first 360° effort that spans television, digital platforms, social media, and in-store activations. The centerpiece? A sleek, stylized ad where Mitchell takes on the persona of an expert investigating “hair crimes” and offering fast, practical fixes. Whether it’s heat-damaged strands or bleach-induced breakage, The Fixer is on the case.

Alongside Mitchell, trichologist Abbey Yung plays a vital role in educating viewers about the science behind hair health. Yung’s expertise ensures the campaign isn’t just about beauty—it’s also informative. Together, the duo highlights how OGX is redefining haircare by merging science with approachability.

At the core of the campaign is the OGX Bond Protein Repair Collection, a seven-piece set built to strengthen and revive damaged hair from the inside out. Key offerings include the Protein Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, a 1-Minute Treatment Mask, a pre-shampoo bonding cream, and the much-hyped 450°F Heat Protect Spray. This continuous mist not only shields strands from high-heat tools but also leaves hair feeling light and conditioned—perfect for on-the-go styling.

“Eight in ten people struggle with hair damage,” said Andrew Stanleick, President of Skin Health & Beauty at Kenvue, OGX’s parent company. “Our mission is to deliver real, effective repair solutions that lead with science. Partnering with Shay helps bring that mission to life.”

For Mitchell, the collaboration doesn’t end with commercials. She’ll also be active on social media, showcasing how OGX products integrate into her daily routine. From hectic shoots to quiet moments at home with her daughters, she remains a relatable figure for many.

This bold new campaign not only elevates OGX’s product offerings—it positions the brand as a leader in accessible, results-driven haircare. With Shay Mitchell leading the charge, healthy hair has never looked more stylish.
