The 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala, held on November 2, was a dazzling affair that brought together Hollywood’s elite to honor the artistic contributions of Simone Leigh and filmmaker Baz Luhrmann. Co-chaired by Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow, the event not only celebrated art but also raised an impressive $6.4 million, marking it as the museum’s most successful gala to date.

As the stars arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, they paraded in front of Chris Burden’s iconic “Urban Light” installation, setting the stage for an evening filled with creativity and style. Among the notable attendees were Kim Kardashian, Viola Davis, Andrew Garfield, Blake Lively, and Charli XCX, each showcasing their unique fashion sense against the backdrop of one of Los Angeles’s cultural landmarks.

The gala was a feast for the eyes, with many celebrities donning stunning outfits from Gucci, the event’s presenting sponsor. Kim Kardashian made headlines not only for her presence but also for wearing a striking piece of jewelry that once belonged to Princess Diana.

Her ensemble was complemented by a sleek silhouette that highlighted her fashion-forward approach. Viola Davis turned heads in a glamorous black sequined gown by Gucci, featuring a dramatic cape detail that added an air of sophistication to her look.

The evening was characterized by a blend of contemporary and vintage styles, with attendees like Emily Ratajkowski opting for archival pieces that harkened back to Old Hollywood glamor.

Blake Lively dazzled in a vibrant mini dress paired with an oversized shawl, reminiscent of her character Serena van der Woodsen from “Gossip Girl,” while Charli XCX brought a modern twist with her heavily embellished two-piece outfit.
