Fans could hardly keep it together when news broke that Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are reportedly dating.

Rumors began to circulate after reports came out that the former co-stars have been spending time together and have been growing close since filming the show’s 25th anniversary special.

Insiders confirmed the news to Closer Online and  stated, “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.” 

The source also stated, “They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing,” 

“They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen’s favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them,” the insider added.

It is important to note that during the reunion, David admitted that he had feelings for Jennifer back then and said, “The first season I had a major crush on Jen. At some point we were both crushing hard on each other. But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship. And we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”

Jennifer confirmed that it was reciprocated and shared,  “I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be  such a bummer  if the first time you and I actually kiss is gonna be on national television.’ Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop. We channelled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.”

In another part of the reunion Schwimmer said, “I thought back on the very first year or two, you know, when we would have breaks from rehearsals, like, there were moments we would, like, cuddle on the couch or something. And I’m thinking, how did anyone not know that we were crushing on each other?”

Other cast members responded to what David said and told him that they knew all along. 

It can be recalled that David was married to actress Zoe Buckman in 2010, but they divorced in 2017. The two  have a 10-year-old daughter named Cleo.

Meanwhile, Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt in 2000, but they went their separate ways in 2005. She then re-married in 2015 to actor, director, and screenwriter Justin Theroux, but they divorced in 2018.
