ART IN RESONANCE STUNNING NEW INSTALLATIONS

We invite you to experience a thrilling and immersive new art exhibit this spring with the return of The Peninsula’s acclaimed global art programme, Art in Resonance. The showcase, which debuts during Hong Kong Art Week and is on display through 5 May, features bold new works from three ground-breaking creators: contemporary artist Angel Hui; ceramicist Albert Yonathan Setyawan, whose work is presented in partnership with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A); and architect-artist Dr. William Lim. Displayed throughout the hotel, each artwork invites moments of discovery – awakening curiosity, wonder, and imagination along the way.
ANGEL HUI

Swimming In Light
Angel Hui’s illuminated goldfish motifs drift across the hotel’s façade, their delicate forms catching and scattering light. Reflected through first-floor windows, the imagery creates shimmering pools of light and shadow.
ALBERT YONATHAN SETYAWAN

Metamorphic Modulation
Enclosing viewers in a chamber lined with repeating patterns of unglazed “baked-earth” ceramic leaves and flowers, Albert Yonathan Setyawan’s work invites contemplation of the organic world.
DR. WILLIAM LIM

A Bright Future
Dr. Lim’s immersive multimedia installation features an oil painting, hand-tufted tapestry, and patterned floor carpet which gives viewers the sensation of stepping directly into the canvas.
A STYLISH CELEBRATION

The three featured Art in Resonance artists gathered among curators, collectors, and cultural luminaries on 23 March to officially unveil the exhibition. The superb installations, all specially commissioned for The Peninsula, will remain on display through the first week of May.
