She took to her Instagram account and showed a photo of herself sporting a bald look.

“I was getting emotional seeing all my hair fall in chunks. I was getting mad and wanted to change my emotions quickly. We went for it and decided time for the new look. I feel much happier that we did it.”

She went on and said, “Still a bit messy on top since it was spur of the moment thing with Elvis. Most importantly, @life.of.guti and I love the look. Always wanted to try this hairstyle but never had the guts. Now I’m liberated.”

For the past couple of weeks, Alexa has been sporadically uploading inspirational quotes online. She also expressed how she feels now that she is seeking the treatment she needs to get better.

“Reality is my hair is falling off due to treatment. It’s daunting to know I’ll be bald soon and it’s actually difficult to process right now. But my faith remains strong. I feel the love of God through everyone sending me prayers, messages, food, and acts of kindness. Today, my body is responding well to chemo. 💞So if you know where to get cute bandanas to style this soon to be bald head message me.”

One of the captions of a quote she posted captured users’ attention as it wrote,  “This is a favorite for many Christians and I can see why. Many hold on to this for strength. We tend to be anxious, fearful, paranoid, or uneasy when problems come our way. I am not saying I don’t cry or get emotional I still do especially with my situation. I was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).”

“However, God never stops reminding me to meditate on this verse day and night. It has been a pillar of strength for me. Hope it will be a verse you can reach to when you feel your problems are overwhelming. Pray, thank him for all the graces and pour your heart out to HIM. ” she added.

Netizens also lauded her husband, Elvis, who has been by her side throughout her cancer journey. Alexa even posted a photo of her hubby holding her hand at the hospital.
