April 8th saw the fashion world converge at The Lot at Formosa in Los Angeles for the third annual Fashion Trust U.S. Awards. From the polished elegance of Hollywood icons to daring sartorial statements, the evening delivered standout moments that lit up the spring fashion scene. Among the celebrated guests were Hailey Bieber, the Hilton family, Kate Hudson, Sam Claflin, and Colman Domingo — each making their own stylish mark.

1. Hailey Bieber

Known for her close ties with Saint Laurent, Hailey Bieber turned heads with a dramatic entrance — even though she skipped the red carpet. Presenting an award to Anthony Vaccarello, the brand’s creative director, she wore a custom plum-hued Saint Laurent gown.

With delicate draping, sleek cutouts, and a halter neckline, the look balanced sensuality and sophistication. Paired with minimalist Tiffany & Co. jewels, the ensemble was a nod to modern French chic.

2. Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson embodied elegance in a structured white gown by Harbison Studio. With a fishtail train and oversized bow embellishment on the bodice, the design was both graceful and theatrical. Hudson’s affinity for classic silhouettes with contemporary twists was on full display, cementing her status as a red carpet mainstay.

3. Nicky Hilton Rothschild and Kathy Hilton

The Hilton family also brought their signature glamour. Nicky Hilton Rothschild and Kathy Hilton coordinated in striking Rebecca Vallance designs. Nicky’s crystal-detailed mini dress was balanced by classic pumps and a sleek hairstyle, while Kathy opted for a full-length, subtly embellished silhouette that channeled timeless Hollywood glam. Their looks proved that fashion is indeed a family affair.

4.  Sam Claflin

Among the standout male appearances, Sam Claflin brought sharp tailoring to the forefront. Dressed in a cream blazer with gold buttons, a crisp white shirt, and charcoal gray trousers, his look was polished with a twist. A black tie with a subtle grid pattern added visual interest, while white socks peeked out above black leather loafers, lending a playful, retro edge to an otherwise classic ensemble.

5. Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo, never one to shy away from bold statements, made waves in a custom Marni suit. The mint-green set featured oversized black sequined floral appliqués and exaggerated lapels, making the entire outfit feel like a canvas of wearable art. A white shirt, left casually unbuttoned, and a silver chain completed the ensemble, while his two-tone platform shoes sealed the look with futuristic flair.

As spring’s biggest trends — sheer fabrics, bold prints, and deep jewel tones — came to life on the red carpet, the 2025 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards reaffirmed its position as a key moment in the style calendar.

Celebrating innovation and honoring emerging design talents, the event was more than a fashion showcase — it was a spirited tribute to creativity. And with stars like Bieber, Hudson, and Domingo championing both daring design and refined elegance, the future of fashion looks nothing short of exciting.
