Known somewhat as the Philippine’s “Cosplay Queen”, Alodia Gosiengfiao got married on Valentine’s Day 2023 to her boyfriend of less than a year, entrepreneur Christopher Quimbo.

They tied the knot at the Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom, Newport City in Pasay City. Their family and friends were witness to this grandiose ceremony. The venue was like a garden from a fairytale, teeming with elegant bushes and beautiful flowers, most of them white roses.

One of the most-shared video clips from the actual wedding is the way Christopher passionately kissed Alodia multiple times on her lips and neck after the priest told him to do so. 

Another is how fellow influencers Myrtle Sarrosa, Cong TV, Junnie Boy, Ghost Wrecker, Ashley Gosiengfiao (her elder sister), and Tim Yap belted ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing’ together during the reception.

The song part was perfectly captured on video and shared his page Facebook by conceptual photographer JAO, a long-time collaborator of Alodia for her eye-catching photoshoots in recent years.

His most recent photoshoot with Alodia appear to be her cosplaying as the female Ghost from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. He also shared a video of the couple visibly excited as the Mnaila Philharmonic Orchestra played the Final Fantasy 7 battle theme, ‘Those Who Fight’ by Nobuo Uematsu.

Alodia’s bridesmaids were: Vernice Enciso, a successful fashion influencer; Ann B. Mateo, an attractive actress and gaming streamer; Myrtle Sarrosa, an actress and fellow cosplayer; Dexie Diaz, a fellow gaming streamer who also acts and model; and Christine Samson, her best friend who’s an esports celebrity prior to becoming famous for ABS-CBN’s ‘It’s Showtime’ as “Genia-nga”.

Alodia is a successful cosplayer who later became a relevant technopreneur in the gaming industry, since she is a PC gamer herself. She is the co-founder of Tier One Entertainment together with seasoned esports professional Tryke Gutierrez, as well as the co-owner of Blacklist International. Like a number of good-looking influencers, she also has her own beauty brand, Alodia Beauty.

Christopher is the president and general manager of Calabria Company Limited, which is responsible for the ever popular Novellino Wines. Many of her supporters and fans are happy with this union because the man Alodia married is an accomplished individual like her.
