Andi Eigenmann Asks For Help For Siargao Island

Andi Eigenmann is seeking help after typhoon Rai, locally known as Odette, slammed into the island of Siargao on Thursday, December 16.
The actress took to social media and posted videos of the damages on her Instagram stories, showing smashed homes and uprooted trees.
The Minsan Lang Kitang Iibigin star also shared how relieved she felt about her loved ones were safe, but stressed that it would take time for the island to recover.
“the island is completely devastated and it would take time before Siargao recovers. All the help would be very much appreciated. And thank you to everyone who have been working tirelessly to organize sending in relief goods, supplies, medical help and to all those who have donated.”
It can be recalled that areas in Visayas and Mindanao were completed shattered, while communication and power outages occurred in other places.
Looting cases have also been reported in Siargao due to lack of basic goods and necessities.
Rescue operations took place on Friday after Odette left 200 people dead and 26 missing. The storm wreaked havoc in the different parts of the archipelago and had packed winds of up to 260 kilometers per hour and with gusts over 300 kilometers per hour.
