Andrea Brillantes finally spoke up and addressed a couple of issues she has been dealing with for the past months.  

The young actress took to social media and uploaded a video of herself  to explain what had really transpired.  “Here I am, at my happiest moment, at marami pa rin pong nadadamay at nababalik na mga pangalan kahit naman ‘di na po dapat. Mas lalo pong dumadami ang mga fake news.”

Andrea elaborated that she and Seth were in a relationship for two years, but then decided to end their relationship. 

“It was a painful breakup, but it was a mutual decision.… We both loved each other truly and deeply. We learned so much from each other, but in the end, we realized that we weren’t growing as individuals”

“We love each other as friends and we also like the company of each other as actors,” she added. 

Meanwhile, Seth Fedelin broke his silence regarding Andrea’s new relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero, and urged fans to support their relationship. He also assured them that there is no bad blood between him and his former co-star. 

“Ako po, wala po akong galit. Ang meron po ako ay tuwa dahil deserve ng kaibigan ko na may gumawa sa kanya ng gano’ng bagay — ipagsigawan siya sa publiko.” 

“Kaya happy po ako, wala po akong anything negative na nararamdaman dahil alam ko po ang totoo,” he said.

It can be recalled that Ricci asked the Kandenang Ginto star to be his girlfriend during his University Athletic Association of the Philippines basketball game last Saturday, April 9. 

Andrea, who was watching his game, then grabbed a t-shirt which had the word “yes” written on it.
