Angel Villaronte has made quite a name for herself in the DJ industry. However, this beauty has also gone above and beyond as president of JCI Manileña. In an exclusive interview with Buzz Beat Media, Angel shares her indelible journey on how she reached such staggering heights in this part of her career.
“As a proud member of JCI Manileña, I can say that my journey with this organization has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Since I joined back in 2014, I have dedicated myself to serving the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others.”
Over the course of 8 years, Angel was fortunate enough to have worked with dedicated and passionate individuals. But the best was yet to come. On her 9th year, she was elected as the president of JCI Manileña, a decision that Angel did not take lightly.
“It was an honor to be given this responsibility and I knew it was not an overnight decision. Throughout my years as a member, I had attended 9 national conventions, 8 areacons, 1 aspac, and volunteered in almost 100+ community projects. All these experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead our chapter towards greater things.”
Angel stressed that she was extremely psyched and immensely grateful to serve JCI Manileña and the community. She made sure that as president she is committed to giving her 200% effort towards this endeavor.
“I firmly believe that through my dedication and determination, I can make a significant difference in the lives of those around me. My happiness stems from the knowledge that I am contributing to something worthwhile and meaningful, and I am eager to see what we can achieve together. With an unwavering spirit and a desire to serve, I am confident that I can make a positive impact in our community and prove myself to be a valuable asset to JCI Manileña.”
Apart from her achievements, Angel also tackled what to expect from JCI this year. “One of my primary goals is to create exciting activities and events at our GMMs that promote engagement, inspire innovation, and build camaraderie. Additionally, I am passionate about developing new community projects that address critical needs in our area while also forging strategic partnerships with organizations that share our values and goals.”
She continued on and stated, “By working collaboratively with our members and partners, I am confident that we can make a significant and lasting impact in our community.”
The entrepreneur/DJ underscores that she is keen on elevating JCI Manilena to even greater heights by restoring the respect and tradition it deserves.
“I am excited to share our upcoming projects for the month of July. We have a tree-planting initiative to promote sustainability, a day at Happyland Tondo to spread joy and goodwill, as well as an interactive activity with 200 kids in Cavite, courtesy of the Philippine Navy.”
Another venture that she is looking forward to is an upcoming visit to an orphanage. Angel notes that this event will allow JCI members to spend quality time with the children and disabled individuals and provide them with support. According to Angel, these projects align with JCI’s mission to create a positive impact and will help raise awareness within the community.
Needless to say that Angel’s extensive involvement and commitment to JCI have been fulfilling and rewarding experiences. During her reign as president, she has attended over 70 events and organized several successful fundraising initiatives, including three sold-out block screenings and flower-selling campaigns for Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.
On a more important note, she was able to raise a total of 1 million through her fundraising efforts and has spearheaded 30-40 successful community projects, spanning across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“In span of 7mos. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my passion and dedication towards contributing to JCI and creating lasting impacts within our community. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us as we continue to work for positive change in our community.”
