Kapamilya star Angelica Panganiban’s Instagram post made a splash after she flaunted photos with her partner-turned-husband Gregg Homan, as they tied the knot on December 31, 2023.

The wedding of the two came as a surprise, just like Angge’s flexing of Gregg on the first day of January in 2021 when he was still her boyfriend.

An outdoor wedding took place in the US, explaining why they were joined by friends Bela Padilla and Kim Chiu. Also present at the wedding was Angge’s friend, director Andoy Ranay. “Patuloy na mananalig at maniniwala sa pag-ibig. Sa kabila ng lahat. Ang pagmamahal pa rin ang kakapitan,” she stated on her Instagram post on January 1, 2024.

“Maligayang bagong taon – Mrs. Angelica Panganiban Homan ❤️,” she added.

Celebrity photographer Pat Dy served as the wedding photographer for the mentioned wedding. “The secret is out and 2024 started with a bang! Congratulations on Angelica and Greg! @teampatdy,” he said on his Instagram post.

Amila Sabine, their daughter, attended her parents’ special day, and the creation of their YouTube channel, The Homans, has allowed us to become more acquainted with them. Angelica’s friends Bela Padilla and Kim Chiu conveyed a message. Their friendship is known as AngBeKi.

Angelica and Gregg’s Love Story Timeline

Gregg is the latest romantic partner of the actress. It is worth noting that she had former boyfriends such as actors Carlo Aquino, John Lloyd Cruz, and Derek Ramsay. On January 1, 2021, Angelica officially introduced their relationship on social media. She and Gregg made their debut on Instagram when she revealed him as her boyfriend to kick off the new year.

“Kung isa kang pelikuka, sana, wala kang ending..,” her caption stated. He did not reveal the entire face of Gregg yet, but it can be seen that they were kissing. 

On July 11, 2021, Angelica and Gregg mark their one-year anniversary as a couple.

“I don’t ever want to be madly in love ever again. I want to be healthy in love, sanely in love, peacefully in love. Happy first year my love i wuv yew,” Angge said. It can be seen that Gregg kissed him on her cheek while having a good time in the sea. 

On September 7, 2021, Angelica posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to her boyfriend for his birthday. The actress shares a series of couple pictures from their one-year relationship, captured at the beach and home, on Instagram. Accompanying the photo carousel is a touching message from Angelica.

It can be read, “Sa hindi inaakalang pagkakataon, ngunit tinakda ng panahon, nakilala ko ang isang tao na nagbigay kasagutan sa lahat ng bakit ko noon. Maligayang bati sa’yong kaarawan mahal ko. Araw araw kitang aalagaan, patatawanin, bubusugin, at mamahalin.”

Around March 2022, rumors spread that Angelica was reportedly pregnant. On March 20, the actress confirmed the speculations about her. “Sa wakas!!! Magagampanan ko na rin ang pinakahihintay, at pinaka importanteng papel ng buhay ko. Magiging ganap na INA na po ako,” she stated.

“Opo, may matres ako mga baklaaah! ipagpapasalamat ko na rin ang mga kapamilya, kaibigan, at mga marites na sumuporta, nagdiwang, nagdasal at patuloy na nagdadasal para sa pamilya namin. Waaaaaah! Huhuhu. May pamilya na ko. Kaiyaq pramis.”

On April 21, 2022, Angelica and Gregg embarked on a “babymoon” in anticipation of the arrival of their first child.

The pair headed to the beach for a brief yet delightful “babymoon” to commemorate the impending arrival of their first child. Concurrently, in a distinct post on Instagram Stories, Angelica shared Gregg’s update, which expressed, “Nothing but joy, thank you, universe!”

On May 14, 2022, Angelica displayed her baby’s room with an underwater theme. In an Instagram video, the actress provides a glimpse of the space adorned with paintings of different sea animals on the walls. Angelica captions her post, saying, “Slowly but surely.”

On May 23, 2022, Angelica and Gregg debuted a YouTube channel named The Homans. In their inaugural vlog titled “Getting to know THE HOMANS,” the couple discloses that their initial encounter was originally planned for 2018.

On June 11, 2022, the couple revealed that they were having a baby girl! “Nais namin ibahagi sa inyo ang napakapersonal, masaya at hindi namin malilimutang araw sa buhay namin,” Angelica said. 

On September 20, 2022, Angelica gave birth to a beautiful and charming baby girl, Amila Sabine Homan.  “Been waiting for you all my life,” she captioned on her Instagram post, showing Amila’s adorable eyes.

On October 26, 2022, Angelica posted her initial family pictures featuring Gregg and Amila Sabine. The actress posted stunning photographs from her family portrait session with Gregg and Baby Amila Sabine. “Nakakaiyak ba?” Angelica stated. “Kasi nakakaiyak for us. I love you, Daddy and bibicakes.”

On October 8, 2022, Angelica and Gregg announced their engagement! “Hi baby Bean, just wanted to let you know that daddy is very nervous because he’s going to ask your mommy to marry him today. It’s been a bit difficult for daddy to find the time to do this because of all the pregnancy stuff and mom’s been a bit moody lately but it’s not her fault,” Gregg said. 

“Daddy loves mommy very much and wants to spend the rest of our lives together. I hope everything goes well. I don’t think she has any idea that I’m going to ask her today,” he added. While by the seashore, it was there that Gregg knelt down and asked for the actress’s hand in marriage.

“Love ko, maraming paraan para sumaya sa buhay na ‘to pero ikaw lang yung kailangan ko. Angelica David Panganiban, will you marry me?” Gregg asked the emotional Angelica. Probably, Angge said yes to him. 

On October 20, 2022, Angelica had a face reveal of Baby Amila Sabine.  “Hello world! It’s been a month 💞 mom and dad are finally ready to share me with you. So, here i am,” she wrote.

On June 3, 2023, Angelica and Gregg provide additional information about their forthcoming wedding. In their vlog titled “1st YEAR Q & A | Episode 47,” the couple takes a seat to respond to various questions from their followers, delving into specifics about their wedding.

“We were going to get married last year pero we wanted to make Bean a part of it,” Gregg said. “So we are going to do it early next year. We are looking at places locally to do it. But I am excited (about) it.”

On June 17, 2023, Angelica posted a heartwarming tribute for Gregg for the celebration of “Fathers’ Day.”

“Mula noon pa, kung saan-saan ako naghahanap ng ibig sabihin ng pagmamahal ng isang ama. Madalas napapanood ko lang sa mga pelikula, nababasa sa mga libro, o paminsan nakikita ko sa mga kaibigan ko,” ani Angge sa kaniyang Instagram post ngayong Linggo, Hunyo 17.

“Hindi ko akalain na magiging mapalad ako ngayon, na nakikita at nararamdaman ko na siya. Napakaswerte ni Amila at ikaw ang una n’yang pag ibig, kalaro at dada. Maraming salamat sa pagganap ng buong-buo at higit pa. Mahal na mahal ka namin. Happy Father’s day daddy,” she wrote.

In another Instagram post, Angge proudly shared that they briefly escaped from “Aling Maliit” (a playful term, possibly referring to responsibilities or tasks) to have a date with Gregg. “Nakatakas kay aling maliit kinda night.”

“I love date nights with you. And glad to know that you will be my forever date to cleanse my palate with 😜 @gregg_homan,” she stated. 

On November 21, 2023, a not-so-good news was shared by Angge. According to her, she has a condition called “avascular necrosis,” which, in layman’s terms, is the death of bone tissue due to a lack of blood supply.

“We haven’t shared this to everyone. But, I had the feeling of letting you guys know as I believe this life journey of ours will give maybe at least anyone of you a strength and inspiration to fight and never give up,” she captioned on their vlog about it. 

“Lately, I’ve been suffering hip’s pain, it has been very difficult for my family and I. I have no idea that this isn’t a simply back or waist act. Upon going for a check to a doctor, my family and I figure out that I had Avascular Necrosis.”

She initially thought that the pain in her hips was just due to her pregnancy with Baby Bean. However, when the pain persisted even after giving birth, she decided to undergo a check-up, and that’s when she found out about her condition. She promptly underwent medical procedures to address it.

“Nagawa na ‘yong procedure… nakapagpasok na sila, na-drill na nila ‘yong hole papunta doon sa dead bone ko,” she said. “Nilagyan nila ng plasma nang sa gayon magkaroon ng regrowth, mabuhay siya ulit, magkaroon ng blood flow,” she added.

Her fans should not worry because she was already on the road to recovery.

“Patuloy ang pagiging positive na matatapos na ‘yong kalbaryo dito sa nararamdaman ko dahil finally na pin-point namin kung ano talaga ang sakit ko. So minsan I just can’t believe na at the age of 37 nagkaroon ako ng bone death, there’s something dead inside me. I am hoping na mabilis din ang recovery ko at hopefully makapagtrabaho na ako next year. I will keep you posted.”

“Mas pabuti nang pabuti ang pakiramdam ko. Kaya salamat sa lahat nang sumubaybay. Salamat sa lahat ng mga naging concern at ito na nga ang ating road recovery. Mas magpapalakas pa at mas iingatan pa lalo ang health para sa mga taong umaasa at nagmamahal sa atin. So sa ganoon din ang gawin n’yo guys. Ingatan n’yo ang inyong sarili, mentally, physically lahat-lahat na ‘yan,” she said.

At her birthday celebration, Angelica gave a hint that she will be getting married soon.  She said that it would be her last birthday celebration as “Ms. Panganiban.” “Salamat sa pagsama sakin sa huling kaarawan blang Ms. Panganiban 🫰,” she captioned on her Instagram post with a hashtag ##HuliNaNiPanganiban.

And on the first day of January 2024, Angelica joyfully announced the news about her wedding with Gregg, which took place in the USA on December 31, 2023. She said that despite everything, they will continue to believe in and hold onto love.
