iPhone users were rattled and amazed when Apple just announced four new iPhone 15s available in the market: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple has finally made an official announcement this Wednesday, September 13, 2023. 

There are four iPhone 15 models, which is the base iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus,  iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.The first two models have the same A16 bionic chip as seen in the iPhone 14 Pro. The new iPhones will also have the second generation Ultra Wideband chip, that will allow Apple users to connect the device with other devices much farther away and with much more precision. 

“iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus represent a huge leap forward with exciting camera innovations that inspire creativity, the intuitive Dynamic Island, and the A16 Bionic chip for proven powerful performance,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing.

“We’re also pushing the power of computational photography to new levels this year with a 48MP Main camera featuring a new 24MP default for super-high-resolution photos, a new 2x Telephoto option, and next-generation portraits,” he added.

Available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus feature the Dynamic Island, an innovative way to interact with important alerts and Live Activities. When it comes to powerful connection capabilities, the iPhone 15 lineup offers advantageous new ways to charge, find friends in busy places, and stay connected while traveling. 

They use a USB‑C connector, a universally accepted standard for charging and transferring data, allowing the same cable to charge iPhone, Mac, iPad, and the updated AirPods Pro (2nd generation). Users can also charge AirPods or Apple Watch directly from the iPhone with the USB‑C connector. Both models support MagSafe and future Qi2 chargers for wireless charging.

This 2023, the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus have the Dynamic Island, a new feature that was exclusive for Pro models only. It was actually introduced in 2022. It is a pill-shaped cutout above the iPhone’s screen. It replaced the notch and introduced a slew of cool features so that users can control apps. 

The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have a new titanium frame, instead of stainless steel, for durability and lighter feels. 

“This is the most pro lineup we have ever created, with a state-of-the-art titanium design, the best iPhone camera system yet that enables game-changing new workflows, and the A17 Pro chip, which ushers in a new chapter of performance and games never before seen on iPhone,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. 

“iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max represent the best of Apple design and industry-first innovations to help enrich the everyday experiences of our users, while enabling them to unleash their creativity,” he added. 

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in five beautiful and vibrant colors: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. They will accommodate pre-orders on Friday, September 15, with availability beginning next Friday, September 22.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in four amazing new finishes, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium. They will also begin to entertain pre-orders on Friday, September 15, with availability beginning next Friday as well, September 22.
