Netizens began to speculate that Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana’s marriage was on the rocks, when the stars suddenly unfollowed each other on Instagram last Tuesday.

Fans were worried when Tom uploaded a cryptic post which showed a reference to the series “Cowboy Bebop.”

The actor shared a video showing a black screen with the word “.float,” while an audio clip played: “And now you’re leaving just like that? Why do you have to go? Where are you going? What are you going to do? Just throw your life away like it was nothing?”

However, the celebs appeared to be following each other again on Instagram as of Wednesday, January 26. 

Meanwhile, beauty queen-actress Kelley Day vehemently denied that she was involved in the rumored break up of Tom and Carla. 

Kelley posted a lengthy message on her Instagram account which wrote, “Many are speculating about my involvement in a certain rumor/blind item story that seems to have been circulating today. So before things get too out of hand, I’d like to clarify that I have no knowledge of/involvement with the controversy.”

“I don’t know how or why my name has become linked (I’m surprised too) but what I do know is that these accusations are false,” Kelley added. 

She continued on and said, “I hope this clears up the false rumors involving me. So much fake news out there nowadays. I hope we can take more caution with what we choose to believe online.”

It can be recalled that Tom and Karla tied the knot at the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish in San Juan, Batangas on October 23, 2021, after being together for seven years. The two met while filming the drama series  My Husband’s Lover where they played husband and wife.
