Amid the devastation caused by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, numerous beauty and fashion brands have rallied together to support those affected by this crisis. With thousands of families displaced and many structures, including homes and schools, destroyed, these brands have pledged to donate products, funds, and resources to help those in need.

Several notable beauty brands have stepped up in a big way. Hailey Bieber’s skincare brand, Rhode, announced a $1 million donation to organizations providing emergency relief for affected families, including Pandemic of Love and Lift LA Family Goal Fund. Additionally, 1% of all Rhode sales from January and February will go toward this cause, providing essential support for victims during a critical time.

Eyewear brand Akila, based in Los Angeles, has committed to donating new prescription lenses and frames to those who have lost theirs in the fires. This simple yet meaningful gesture helps restore basic needs for individuals who’ve lost everything in the disaster. Similarly, beauty brand Rare Beauty has donated emergency care kits to evacuation centers and contributed to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen.

Other companies have found unique ways to provide aid. Set Active has turned its headquarters into a donation center, sending products to over 300 affected families and raising more than $40,000 for wildfire relief efforts. By Rosie Jane, a perfume brand, has launched a donation drive for wildfire victims, partnering with other brands to collect essential goods for those in need.

Other brands like Alo and Rōz have also made substantial contributions. Alo is distributing care kits from its Beverly Hills location and has partnered with local businesses to provide meals for affected individuals. Meanwhile, Rōz has pledged to donate 10% of its January sales to the California Community Foundation and teamed up with hair-tool brand T3 to support hair professionals affected by the fires.

In addition to direct donations, several companies are supporting wildfire relief efforts through cause-marketing initiatives. For instance, Lost Angels, a press-on nail brand, is donating 100% of its net proceeds from purchases made between January 15 and 22 to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. Similarly, Yeah It’s Jewelry is donating proceeds from its Los Angeles charm collection, with the total amount raised so far exceeding $15,000.

These initiatives highlight how the beauty industry, typically focused on cosmetics and skincare, can leverage its resources and platform to provide meaningful support during times of crisis. With live fundraising events, donation drives, and collaboration between brands, the beauty sector is making a significant impact on wildfire relief efforts, showing the power of philanthropy in times of disaster.

The response from these companies underscores the importance of solidarity and community support, reminding us that in moments of devastation, we can come together to help rebuild lives and restore hope.
