There’s that time of the year when we block our schedules just to watch the Oscars live on television. It is a winning moment for a lot of people who are recognized and honored for their diverse talent in the film industry. 

But let’s admit it, we also love to see our favorite celebs grace the red carpet in their jaw-dropping ensembles.

And since we can’t get enough of the hoopla surrounding this big event, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite looks at the Academy Awards Ceremony and at the Vanity Fair after party this year. Check them out! 

LUPITA N’YONGO

First off, we’re totally in love with Lupita N’yongo’s dress at the Oscars. She dazzled in a sequined gold dress that had an open back and long sleeves. Shiny, shimmery, and splendid indeed!

DAKOTA JOHNSON

One of our favorites that night would have to be Dakota Johnson’s ensemble. She had sequins attached to her garb which sparkled a mile away. But what caught everyone’s eye were those fluffy feathers at the lower part of her dress. She looked so ethereal! 

ARIANNA DEBOSE

Who is that lady in red? Why, it is none other than Arianna Debose. Not only did Arianna bag the awkward for best supporting actress for her breakout role in film The Westside Story, but she also completely rocked this sexy red palazzo pant, bra top, and long cape. This looks comfy too!

JADA PINKETT SMITH 

Apart from being Will Smith’s wife and one of the most sought-out actresses in Hollywood, Jada Pinkett Smith has become a fashion icon as well. She totally killed it in an emerald green couture gown. She had a little bit of an ‘Angolina Jolie’ moment where she showed us that she had legs for days through her high slit. 

ZENDAYA

Well, this is something different! Zendaya was a knockout in a white crop top and a silver sequined skirt which accentuated her slim figure. This girl isn’t just talented, but she also unique when it comes to her fashion choices. 

KENDALL JENNER

Model alert! Kendall Jenner was a vision in a ruffled black gown with matching black boots. But what made her entire apparel edgy were her cool shades. She carried herself well on the red carpet, don’t you think so?

KIM KARDASHIAN

Aside from Kendall, her older sister Kim Kardashian also made waves with her outfit that night. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star stepped out in a neon blue gown which had  a long train, where the long sleeves stretched into gloves – a signature look that the reality star has been pulling off quite well recently. 

JESSICA CHASTAIN

The big winner of the night took our breath away! Jessica Chastain was flawless in a two-toned gown, which she accessorized  with silver earrings and a bracelet. Her high ponytail also showed her luminescent neck. She looks like a goddess!
