BLACKPINK’s Jennie Takes Center Stage in Jean Paul Gaultier’s 2025 Campaign

Jennie has taken her influence in the fashion world to new heights, officially becoming the face of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Pre-Fall 2025 campaign. Titled the “Ultimate Gaultier Muse,” the global superstar commands the spotlight in a collection that honors theatricality, technical craftsmanship, and visual storytelling—all signatures of the iconic Parisian maison.
The campaign is a landmark debut under Jean Paul Gaultier’s newly appointed Creative Director, Duran Lantink. Known for his experimental and detail-oriented work, Lantink steers the house toward a fresh, elevated vision while preserving its bold identity.
His first outing with Gaultier’s design studio sees the house lean into themes rooted in the classical elements—earth, water, air, and fire—through a series of ensembles that feel at once timeless and avant-garde.
Jennie’s role in the campaign is more than symbolic. She wears the house’s latest creations with striking ease—corseted silhouettes, tailored jackets, and optical illusions using trompe-l’œil techniques. Each frame, captured by Emmy-winning artist Max Siedentopf, blends the real with the surreal. Against this dreamlike backdrop, Jennie’s charisma grounds every look in authenticity.
“This campaign felt like stepping into a dream,” Jennie shared in a statement. “Every look had its own energy—fluid, fiery, grounded or light—and I loved expressing all those sides of myself through Gaultier’s incredible designs.”
Her interpretation of the Gaultier woman is dynamic—an elegant showgirl with a commanding presence, blending sensuality with quiet strength. Whether donning a sharply structured blazer or a flowing sheer gown, Jennie exudes confidence that aligns perfectly with Gaultier’s long-celebrated theatrical vision.
The Pre-Fall 2025 line pays homage to Gaultier’s archival flair, including nods to its iconic corsetry and layered tailoring. The garments are deeply textural, embracing silk, velvet, and denim with refined detailing.
A standout moment? The denim corset look worn by Jennie sold out online within minutes of launch—underscoring her status as both fashion muse and sales force.
Though Jennie has long held the role of CHANEL ambassador, her ever-expanding style portfolio includes appearances in looks by Mugler, Georges Hobeika, and now, Gaultier.
Earlier this year, her front-row debut at the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture show made waves—where she wore a sheer, beaded dress from the 2008 archive and sat beside the legendary Jean Paul Gaultier himself.
The fashion house shared that Jennie “embodies a modern showgirl, commanding the stage of this visual universe. Her presence, at once grounded and ethereal, brings a new dimension to each look, flirting with instinctive strength and authenticity.”
As high fashion continues to embrace boundary-pushing narratives, Jennie stands at the intersection of music, art, and design. With her latest role at Jean Paul Gaultier, she not only affirms her status as a cultural icon but also helps usher the storied fashion house into a daring new era.
