BLAST Premier, the world-leading Counter-Strike tournament organiser, today announced additional tickets will be made available for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) fans to purchase from today, following overwhelming demand which saw the original ticket allocation sell out in record time.
The event, which takes place from 30 October to 3 November at the prestigious Resorts World Convention Centre, Sentosa in Singapore, recently confirmed the eight finalist teams who will battle it out for the most prestigious trophy in world CS2 gaming. Defending champions Vitality will compete against current world ranking leader NAVI alongside finalists G2 esports, Team Spirit, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Astralis and MOUZ.
Organised in collaboration between BLAST Premier, AEG Presents Asia and the Singapore Tourism Board, the event marks a key milestone in Singapore’s emergence as a major global esports destination for players and fans alike.
“AEG Presents is thrilled to partner with BLAST in Asia, delivering top-tier esports experiences directly to the fans,” said Zinan Chen, Vice President, AEG Presents Asia.
“The response from the community has been incredible. We are grateful for having such strong support as we embark on this exciting journey with BLAST. We can’t wait to celebrate esports with them in Singapore and share the adrenaline of these thrilling matches with fans!”.
Following initial ticket allocation on August 30, the BLAST Premier Bundle and 3-day admission packages sold out within a week. BLAST said a limited allocation of tickets has been made available due to the ability to restructure the arena format to enable as many fans as possible to see the action.
“We’ve been blown away by the response to the World Final and have worked quickly and creatively to help as many fans as possible have the opportunity to attend,” said James Woollard, Director of Market Development, BLAST. “Singapore is a dream destination to be hosting our pinnacle event in the CS2 calendar and we can’t wait to welcome both our local and international fans to the show.”
The newly added tickets to watch the competitive action live between 1 and 3 November are available from today via Ticketmaster.sg
