Canadian 2 For 1 Pizza has symbolically adopted two American beavers, Justin and Selena, who call River Wonders, home.

The beavers, now 13 years old, arrived in  Singapore at around 2 years of age. Known for their unique personalities—Justin’s homely nature and Selena’s love for food—these beavers and their animal friends are ambassadors for their wild cousins at the park’s Once Upon A River presentation, which shares with guests about the diverse range of wildlife that contribute to the biodiversity of our planet and why conserving them will protect us and the world we share.

At the adoption ceremony held at River Wonders, a certificate of adoption was presented to officially welcome Justin and Selena as the newest members of the Canadian 2 For 1 Pizza team. The beavers also charmed their new friends in a much-anticipated engagement session where their trainers shared fun facts and quirks about the animals.

Contributions from this adoption will support the purchase of  items such as enrichment devices for mental stimulation, treats for positive conditioning and training as well as medical equipment which will contribute to the well-being of the beavers and other animals at River Wonders. Outside of the parks at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, the funding will go towards supporting conservation projects in Singapore and across the region.

The adoption of River Wonders’ American beavers also ties in with the brand’s mascot, “Justin Beaver”, introduced in 2023 to appeal to younger audiences. Both initiatives celebrate Canadian heritage and promote the preservation of its national wildlife.

In being more thoughtful of the planet, the pizza brand aims to introduce eco-friendly packaging, encouraging consumers to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and contribute to a greener Singapore.

Canadian 2 For 1 Pizza is now offering a 10% discount on pick-up orders. This initiative supports the brand’s goal to encourage environmentally friendly choices and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Customers can use the code CHOOSETHEEARTH for a 10% discount on pick-up orders placed via the website or app. This promotion is valid from 6 August 2024 to 6 August 2025 and is applicable only to online payments. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
