Caped Run Turns Uptown Bonifacio and Southwoods Mall Into a Superhero Scene
SHARE
Capes took over Uptown Bonifacio on June 25 and Southwoods Mall on June 27 as runners, movie fans, families, and furry friends joined the Caped Run. Held in partnership with Megaworld Cinemas, the community run brought a playful superhero-inspired experience to both destinations in support of Supergirl, now showing in Megaworld Cinemas.

Runners wore capes over their workout gear, turning the event into a lighthearted scene of movement, fandom, and shared energy. More than a themed run, the activity gave guests a fresh way to connect with the film outside the cinema, with moments inspired by strength, courage, and adventure.
At Uptown Bonifacio, the run added a dynamic city pulse to the community, while Southwoods Mall brought the same spirited experience to families and fitness groups in Laguna. The event also reflected how movie releases can extend into everyday spaces, creating experiences that feel social, memorable, and easy for guests to be part of.

The Caped Run served as a fitting lead-up to the big-screen experience, inviting guests to carry the film’s superhero spirit from the streets to the cinema.
