After Carlo Aquino confirmed a couple of weeks ago that he and Charlie Dizon are indeed dating, people are now wondering what is the current status of their relationship.

In his latest post, there was a clip where Dizon can be seen walking along the streets of Tokyo, Japan and it’s captioned: “TokYou have my heart.” He also shared snaps of him in different poses following the initial post, with a couple credited as photos taken by his actress companion. This is the first time Aquino posted about Dizon. Meanwhile, she posted some pictures of her taken by the actor. The caption said: “Life happens, coffee helps.” 

Late last year, there were rumors linking Dizon to Aquino, her co-star in the upcoming film Love on a Budget. This was already almost a full year after the singer-actor confirmed his split with model-vlogger Trina Candaza, who’s the mother of his child Enola Mithi.

During his exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News last January 2023, he confirmed that he and the Viral Scandal actress are seeing each other, but are still in the getting-to-know wach other stage. “Actually… ‘di ba nagkasama kami sa ‘A Soldier’s Heart’? Nagkakilala kami doon. Tapos, nag-US Tour…mas nakilala ko siya. Tapos, pag-uwi, ‘yun na,” he said.

He also revealed during the said interview that the MMFF 2020 Best Actress already met his family during New Year’s Eve 2022. “Kasi ‘yung brother ko ‘di nakauwi from Sydney at saka ‘yung wife niya ng two years dahil nga sa pandemic. So pag-uwi nila, ‘yung mga relatives nung sister-in-law ko pumunta,” he explained.

Just like last time there was a buzz about their relationship status, those who do not approve of it lost no time in commenting on Youtube videos reporting about this. Sheena16 referred to herself as a fan of Dizon who follows the latter’s social media accounts, but has qualms about the actress’ suitor: “Wag naman sana magaya siya sa mga ex ni Carlo, then iwan lang din. Sayang kasi siya.”

Another Youtube user, Precy Cruz said, “Mas maganda pa rin si Trina. Alam naman ng babaeng ‘yan na may karelasyon si Carlo pumatol ka pa. Hindi magtatagal ang relasyon niyo.”

Aside from Candaza, Aquino formerly dated on-screen partner Angelica Panganiban, Maja Salvador, and Camille Prats. As of writing, there’s no new statement from the two confirming or denying that they are more than friends now.
