Moved forward. New beginnings. New home!

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Kathryn Bernardo, the acclaimed Asian actress and beloved Kapamilya Superstar, hosted a charming housewarming celebration at her family’s newly constructed residence, surrounded by their closest friends and loved ones. She officially relocated to this new residence in December 2023.

Kathryn has at last unveiled her much-anticipated dream abode in Antipolo City, Rizal. Attendees were given an exclusive glimpse into Kathryn’s fresh dwelling, with some even providing glimpses of its interior. It took Kathryn seven years of dedication before her dream dwelling materialized.

Reports indicate that in 2016, Kathryn obtained the land for her upcoming home; however, construction didn’t kick off until March 2024, after three years of careful planning. In her interview on Magandang Buhay on July 30, 2019, Kathryn shared details about the property for the first time.

“‘Yong ‘soon’ alam ko gusto rin ni Mama na mapatayo na ‘yong dream house na ‘yon, so sana this year masimulan,” she said. 

“Gusto ko kasi kapag nagpatayo ng dream house, ‘yong gusto na namin, ‘yong nae-envision ni Mama kung ano ang gusto ko, lahat, sa buong family. So, hopefully mag-start na ‘yong construction soon. Kayod pa.”

On March 9, 2020, Kathryn’s diligent efforts culminated as she revealed the commencement of the groundbreaking ceremony for the house. Accompanied by her loved ones, including her former on-screen and real-life partner Daniel Padilla, they wielded ceremonial shovels and excavated soil from the property, marking the beginning stages of their forthcoming residence.

Kathryn sought the guidance of Architect Don Lino and his team from LINO Architecture to design the layout for her new dwelling.

Upon entering Kathryn’s new property, visitors are met with a generous driveway surrounded by lush greenery, establishing a rejuvenating and inviting atmosphere. Inside Kathryn’s residence, there’s a collection of remarkable artwork, turning it into a miniature museum of sorts.

She collaborated with contemporary visual artist Jinggoy Buensuceso to create striking sculptures for her home, with one prominently showcased at the entrance door. Another eye-catching art piece by Jinggoy adorns a white wall within Kathryn’s home, captivating viewers with its mesmerizing interplay of lights, thereby enhancing the aesthetic appeal of her residence even more.

Another amusing feature of Kathryn’s house is having a slide and an elevator! At Kathryn’s residence, a grand staircase made of wood and glass becomes the focal point, with each step softly illuminated from below. Next to the imposing staircase sits an elevator, providing easy access to all three levels of the house.

An eccentric feature of the residence is a slide, providing a playful and unconventional means of traversing between floors, introducing a distinctive and enjoyable aspect to the home’s design.

Located within the garden space is an infinity pool that presents stunning vistas of Metro Manila. The extensive garden was gorgeously transformed into a picturesque dining arrangement for the party. The concept is to give the impression that when someone gazes at the scenery, they feel as though they’re atop a hill.

As an outpouring of congratulatory messages streams in, fans find themselves reflecting on the inspiring journey that led Kathryn to her most recent milestone.
