Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray shared a touching moment from her water baptism at a Christian church.

“A new beginning with Jesus 🙏 Glory to God always,” she said on her Instagram post last June 23.

“So fulfilled to take the step of publicly declaring my faith today. I was baptized as a baby, but wanted to take this action as an adult. So thankful to the community and family that @favor.mnl is. Thank you God for never ceasing in the pursuit of my heart.”

“‭Romans 6:4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”

Christian-born-again celebrities also gave her messages of support.

“God bless you more Cat!!!” Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano said.

“God is faithful always. God bless you more and more in every way!” veteran actress Coney Reyes messaged.

“@dochayden and I are so happy for you . Thank you for making this public declaration of your love for the lord . You very inspired so many over the years. May more people be inspired to have. Personal relationship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ,” celebrity doctor Dra. Vicki Belo said.

“Hey, Catriona Gray, it’s a whole new day! Baptism is a holy rite, a step towards the One True Light!” Anthony Pangilinan, the wife of Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan and father of Donny Pangilingan said.

Catriona shared that she was baptized as a baby, but she chose to undergo baptism again as a symbol of her renewed and strengthened faith.

Catriona Gray is a Filipino-Australian beauty queen, singer, and model best known for winning the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. Born on January 6, 1994, in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, she is of mixed Scottish and Filipino descent. Before her Miss Universe win, she also held the titles of Miss World Philippines 2016 and Miss Universe Philippines 2018.

Cat’s victory at Miss Universe 2018 brought significant attention due to her performance, which included the iconic “lava walk” and her impactful answers during the competition. Apart from her pageant career, she is also an advocate for various causes, including education and HIV/AIDS awareness. She has pursued a career in entertainment, releasing music and working as a television host and presenter.

She recently traveled to Japan with her mother, where they enjoyed exploring the picturesque streets of Kyoto and indulging in Japanese cuisine. This update comes after Catriona removed her engagement photo with Sam Milby from her Instagram.

However, the engagement photo and other couple pictures remain on Sam’s account, leaving the status of their relationship uncertain. The last time Catriona and Sam were seen together publicly was in April at Erickson Raymundo’s birthday celebration, the founder and president of Cornerstone Entertainment.

In February, Cornerstone Entertainment, the talent agency representing Catriona and Sam, issued a statement acknowledging that they were facing some challenges in their relationship.
