Netizens were furious when a video of a Grab delivery rider made rounds on social media as a barangay official refused to let him make a delivery of “lugaw” saying that food item was “not essential.

Department of Interior and Local Government Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III went viral when he agreed with the official and stated that porridge is not essential.

However,Karen Davila expressed on more serious note, her thoughts on the matter. She wrote, “The palace settles it – Lugaw is essential. But what is so disturbing to me  is the level of discourse with the local authority.
