Mark your calendars on 3-5 March 2023 as this important festival makes its way back to the Central Harbourfront.

Fans have been anticipating Clockenflap’s homecoming and last November 8, it has been confirmed that Central Harbourfront will be the venue for Hong Kong’s biggest cosmopolitan alfresco music and arts festival happening on March 2023. After a three-year break, the beloved celebration of arts and music is 100% set to happen from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 March 2023.

Taking back its reputation as one of the most famous Hongkong cultural events worldwide, Clockenflap reinstates the all-encompassing and superb affair which urban  audiophiles take pride in: an amazing outdoor environment featuring a variety of stages; an enticing set of F&B outlets; and a diverse array of must-see foreign, regional, and local performances. The various stages and attractions will feature entertainment independent of each other so the audience can easily move around and partake in the activities to their hearts’ desire.

This is going to be the 12th season of Clockenflap, and the festival’s comeback will be a motivation for the celebration of live music and arts in Hong Kong and across the region. 2008 marked its inception at Cyberport, then it transferred to the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade in 2011 and after that, to Central Harbourfront in 2016. 

Clockenflap has created an unmatched stature for bringing about a congenial, exciting, and innovative festival experience, and its disappearance was biting for urban audiophiles in the last four years.

Another popular aspect of Clockenflap is the way it accepts different genres across the musical spectrum, and its global roster has obtained awards globally. Buzzfeed gave it the tag line “Asia’s Answer to Coachella”, while two-time Clockenflap artist Nile Rodgers declared it as his preferred festival globally: “It’s awesome. It’s so beautiful, the way the sun sets on the stage. It’s completely magical.”

Announcement of the primary lineup as well as how to purchase early bird tickets will take place soon. Clockenflap 2021’s unrefunded tickets can be used on the new dates, and the instructions on how to activate this benefit will be communicated to current ticket holders as the festival draws near.
