Five men, five problems with their arsenals. Jake Cuenca, Mikoy Morales, Archie Adamos, Gold Azeron, and Nil Nodalo star in DickTalk, five monologues which will teach you that men encounter problems like women regarding their sexuality, and that may be, a man’s arsenal does not really define him.
This production is the initial theatrical offering of V-Roll Media Ventures and is directed by Phil Noble. The play is set to go onstage for a limited run at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati this 2023 on April 15, 16, & 23 (3PM & 8PM), as well as April 18-21 (8PM).
During the question and answer segment after the preview, which the press was not allowed to photograph due to the sensitivity of the material, the lead stars react to the vegetables they are holding in the poster.
I’d like to say.”
Gold Azeron: “Hindi naman ako nakarelate masyado sa tanong kasi tabingi masyado yung…hahaha. Straight tayo. Tuwid tayo.”
A representative of V-Roll explained that there are four vegetables and one fruit in the poster because Nil Nodalo, a transexual in real life, is such. “We have four biological males and one who chose to be male,” she added.
Whether you’re a man, a woman, or anything in between, DickTalk serves as a platform for their viewers to expand their horizons, challenge assumptions, and encourage everyone to join in on the conversation about what it means to be a man in the 21st century.
