Leading fiber internet service provider Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. has once again proven its dominance, securing their third consecutive Ookla® Speedtest Award for the Fastest Fixed Network in the Philippines for the second half of 2024–thereby cementing its position as the fastest network provider for the entire year.

Ookla®, the company behind Speedtest®, is the global leader in mobile and broadband
network intelligence, testing applications, and related technologies.

MWC25 (Mobile World Congress), held last week in Barcelona, brought together the world’s
top innovators and tech leaders to showcase the latest advancements in connectivity and
digital transformation. Representing Converge ICT Solutions Inc., CEO Dennis Anthony Uy
and COO Jesus C. Romero attended the prestigious event to celebrate multiple Ookla®
Speedtest Awards for their outstanding network performance in the Philippines.

Later that day, Mr. Romero took the stage at BDC Barcelona 2025, joining Mehmet Durmus (Turkcell)
and Ambika Khurana (Vodafone Idea Limited) for a panel discussion hosted by Kerem Arsal
(Omdia). Titled “Rethinking the Value of Networks in the Era of AI,” the discussion explored
how AI is reshaping connectivity, driving efficiency, and redefining network value in an
increasingly digital world.

“We’ve gone from a change of guard to setting new standards, proving that excellence isn’t
just about winning once—it’s about consistently delivering for our customers,” said Jesus C.
Romero, COO of Converge ICT Solutions Inc. “These awards aren’t just for us; they’re for
every Filipino who relies on fast, stable, and accessible internet to power their daily lives.”
The Speedtest Awards are presented semi-annually by Ookla®, assessing the real-world
experiences of users based on millions of consumer-initiated tests.

For the second half of 2024, Converge cemented its status as the Philippines’ top internet provider, sweeping multiple accolades from Ookla®. With a remarkable Speed Score™ of 144.81, nearly a 25% gap from trailing competitors, Converge was recognized as the Fastest Fixed Network, delivering blazing download speeds of up to 561.51 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 509.08 Mbps. Its commitment to high-quality streaming was also acknowledged, earning the Best ISP Video Experience award with a
Video Score of 78.17, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted entertainment for users.

Beyond speed, Converge proved its dominance in gaming and overall connectivity. With an impressive Game Score™ of 83.06, it secured the title of Best ISP Gaming Experience, guaranteeing low-latency, seamless gameplay for Filipino gamers especially through the Game Changer offering. Additionally, its Overall Connectivity Score of 76.13 solidified its position as the Best Fixed Network, showcasing unmatched reliability and consistency. These achievements reinforce Converge’s relentless pursuit of delivering world-class internet services to Filipino households and businesses.

Elevating the Filipino Digital Experience

Building on its success, Converge continues to introduce groundbreaking initiatives that
enhance the digital lifestyle of its customers. Boost Mode, launched in the first half of 2024,
initially provided a free 100 Mbps speed upgrade for FiberX subscribers, celebrating
Converge’s consecutive Ookla® Speedtest Awards.

Boost Mode was made a permanent offering available to all in the latter part of the year not only to celebrate the continuing streak but also as part of the company’s culture of service, built on a customer-first approach, prioritizing accessibility, reliability, and innovation to deliver world-class internet connectivity while expanding digital inclusion across the Philippines. Furthermore, a partnership with
leading streaming platform Netflix introduced the Netflix Bundle which integrated Converge’s
high-speed internet with premium entertainment offerings, delivering an unmatched digital
experience.

This year, Converge is set to revolutionize home connectivity with all-new Super FiberX,
featuring Wi-Fi 6 technology delivering enhanced performance, broader coverage, and faster
speeds—particularly in households with multiple devices connected at once. A key highlight
is the introduction of the Xperience Box, which debuts with SkyTV Standard paving the way
for a robust lineup of future applications and expansions.

With its multi-awarded and ISO-certified standing, Converge continues to set the standard
for broadband services in the Philippines. Its latest Ookla® recognition further solidifies its
leadership in providing accessible, reliable and tailor-fit connectivity.
