Singapore-based Jeremiah Su, Community Manager and Ecosystems Builder of The Beyond, an online community on brand management and digital entrepreneurship, has finally landed in Manila and gathered content creators, rebelpreneurs, startup founders and digital nomads under one roof to talk about creator economy in Manila at the KMC Solutions, One Ayala East Tower last February 27, 2026.

Under the theme “Beyond Manila: Influence, Rewritten,” Jeremiah Su hosted this multiculturally diverse event, which is co-sponsored by the Philippine Blockchain Week, KMC Teams & Workspaces, SG60 Voices from the Heart, Bugsy’s Sports Bar, Nomads in Paradise, Experia and Universal Robina.

The event started with the arrival and socializing of guests, while enjoying coffee and other refreshments. Mostly coming from content creation and digital marketing backgrounds, the event was off to a good start with hosts Stanley Chi and Joem Maderazo kickstarting the event with games and prizes. Afterwards, Jeremiah Su took center stage as he spoke about the growth of The Beyond community, which is now composed of 453 members from 42 countries and still growing.

Su shared that he started The Beyond as a community in 2022. He started this community “because I was sick and tired of doing everything by myself, I was lonely, I was depressed, I wanted a complete center to share my sad stories with other business owners, and so The Beyond was formed. A bunch of us decided that, you know what, we are sick and tired of clients shitting on us, on vendors shitting on us, on people ghosting us. And from that experience, a community was born, a mission and a purpose was born which we bring to any single country that we go to, because why, everybody deserves money,” Su emotionally narrated.

Stanley Chi then announced that the time for “Collaboration Catalysts” had come and called three speakers to the stage to relate their experiences on this question: how do brands approach creatorpreneurs properly? Jeremiah Su, Anna Savu (travel and lifestyle content creator) and Orly Darnayla (champion & advocate of digital nomadism in the Philippines) took turns to relate their experiences to the eager crowd. Su underscored the importance of radical honesty as a rule of engagement.
Darnayla highlighted the importance of relationships compared to transactions in the relations between brands and content creators. “Rather than transactional, we believe in relationships. And relationships could be, you know, it’s not butterflies and rainbows sometimes, but if you understand each other as a brand, it’s much better,” Darnayla related. Darnayla is the Founder of Baybayin Hub, Digital Nomad Association Philippines and Nomads in Paradise.

Meanwhile, Savu emphasized on the value of audience building, which takes content creators years to achieve. As a reminder to brands, Savu explained: “You don’t pay only for those five minutes of work, you paid for the audience that has been built through the years.”
Su announced the upcoming launch of The Beyond in Thailand (Beyond Bangkok: Anti-Networking) on April 3, 2026 and in Indonesia (Beyond Bali: FACE Value) on April 10, 2026.
