The world’s biggest book sale is making its grand return to Metro Manila—and it’s bigger, better, and more book-filled than ever. From May 23 to June 2, 2025, Big Bad Wolf Books takes over the 2nd Floor of V-Mall in Greenhills, San Juan, bringing over 2 million books at unbelievably low prices.

But before the general public gets to dive into this treasure trove, select readers will get a head start during an exclusive VIP Day on May 22.

The special preview begins with registration at 9:30 AM via the V-Mall Main Entrance between Watsons and BDO. Designed for passionate readers and early-bird hunters, the VIP Day offers guests the first chance to browse rare finds, new arrivals, and crowd-favorite titles without the usual rush.

Whether you’re a fiction fanatic, a non-fiction nerd, or a parent looking to spark your child’s imagination, Big Bad Wolf has something for everyone.

This year’s collection includes everything from timeless classics to trending BookTok picks. Expect titles like The Kite Runner (20th Anniversary Edition) by Khaled Hosseini, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and The Party Crasher by Sophie Kinsella—each offered at massive discounts.

The move to V-Mall signals a strategic expansion by Big Bad Wolf to connect with more Filipino book lovers. According to co-founder Jacqueline Ng, the aim is to make books more accessible to new readers by meeting them where they are—inside malls. This setup not only increases visibility but also turns casual visits into joyful literary discoveries.

In true Big Bad Wolf fashion, the layout of the sale is designed to make book-hunting fun and intuitive. Curated tables highlight the top 10 fiction and non-fiction titles, perfect gift ideas, and even viral favorites. This format helps newcomers feel less overwhelmed and gives seasoned readers a quick path to their next great read.

Interestingly, the Philippine market stands out for its strong interest in adult fiction. Unlike in other countries where book sales tend to focus on children’s titles, Filipino readers often buy books for themselves as well. This balance between adult and children’s books reflects the country’s deep and personal connection to reading, making the local audience especially engaging for the Big Bad Wolf team.

The event isn’t just about sales—it’s an invitation to experience a shared love for literature. Whether you’re attending VIP Day or joining the public sale, every visit promises the thrill of discovery and the joy of reading. And yes, admission is completely free.

So mark your calendars, bring your shopping totes, and prepare to get lost in a sea of pages. The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Greenhills is more than a shopping event—it’s a celebration of stories, imagination, and community. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it.
