Have you guys seen the new Darna trailer?
Fans were in for a treat as they were able to take a glimpse of the much anticipated action drama series.
Snippets of the show’s scenes and characters have also gone viral. The three-minute video has already garnered 1,000,000 views on Youtube.
Jane De Leon, who plays the iconic heroine, finally takes flight and will save mankind from destruction after a few years of delay. Iza Calzado was also seen in the teaser portraying the role of Narda’s mother, Leonor.
The cast also includes Joshua Garcia, who depicts the role of Narda’s former schoolmate, Brian, while Janella Salvador is the evil antagonist Valentina.
Darna is set to air on Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and worldwide on The Filipino Channel in August, 2022.
Rumor has it that it will be replacing one of the longest running television shows FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
