DepEd, Rebisco Partner to Boost Youth Development and Wellness Through Volleyball

The Department of Education (DepEd), in partnership with Rebisco and Creamline, will collaborate to nurture youth values formation and wellness through grassroots volleyball development.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara, an advocate for youth development through sports, underscored the significance of REBISCOVER Learning partnership, which includes the RebisCONGRESS or the conduct of training programs and volleyball clinics among the schoolsâ volleyball coaches and athletes.

Sec. Angara led the ceremonial volleyball toss, alongside Creamline Cool Smashers members Michelle Gumabao, Tots Carlos, and Kyle Negrito, following the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with the Rebisco Group of Companies on Tuesday.
âGanyan po ang Pinoy, pag dating sa edukasyon, pagdating sa sports, bayanihan, tulong-tulong,â Sec. Angara said.
Key leaders from the Rebisco Group of Companies, including Mr. Jonathan Ng (President of Suncrest Foods Incorporated, SFI Multimix Corporation, and Multirich Foods Corporation) President, Mr. Geronimo R. Kamus (President of Rebisco) Mr. David T. Yuyucheng (President of SPI Corporation), Mr. Victor C. Janolino (Head of Marketing Excellence) and Mr. Jerry T. Tan (Head of Rebisco Foundation) joined the ceremony, alongside Executive Committee officials from the Department of Education.
Through the program, Creamline will provide volleyball kits, tutorial videos, and learning camps to schools nationwide.
âWe thank Rebisco for supporting the restoration of service facilities such as sports clinics and canteens so we will have the next Michelle, Tots, and Kylie. Mga bata pa lang, mahahasa na ang kanilang galing,â he added.
