Time has flown by, and now Diego Loyzaga and Alexis Suapengco’s daughter, Hailey Page, has turned one and has been baptized!
It seems that everything is now smooth between Diego and Alexis, the mother of his child and a yoga instructor. In photos taken by Nice Print Photo, Diego and Alexis are seen joyfully celebrating their daughter’s milestones. The little girl looked charming in her white dress with puffy sleeves.
Photos and videos from the event, now circulating on social media, show the couple looking extremely happy together. “Happy first birthday Hailey Paige and welcome to the christian world! Thanks for having us Daddy @diegoloyzaga and Mommy Alexis #niceprintkiddie,” Nice Print captioned in the post.
Among the guests were celebrity couple Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia with their son Amari, singer-actor Janno Gibbs, and actress Julia Barretto. Also seen at the event were Diego’s father Cesar Montano; his former co-star Cristine Reyes; entrepreneur Phoebe Fructuoso; beauty queens Gita Gumabao, Ma. Francesca Taruc, and Rethiana Rosy; makeup artist Arlita Domingo; Hailey’s godmothers; and content creator Stevie Eigenmann.
A video captured Diego reminiscing about Alexis’ labor, highlighting how lengthy and challenging it was for her. He also shared some moments from his daughter’s pink and violet Star Wars-themed party on his personal social media account.
In June 2023, Diego revealed that he had become a father to a beautiful daughter, sharing a photo of himself holding his newborn child just before Father’s Day in Australia. The actor has kept the details of his relationship with Alexis private, previously stating, “We’re raising the child together.”
During an interview with Toni Gonzaga last November, Diego shared how his life had transformed since becoming a father. The interview stirred some controversy due to his admission that he doesn’t believe in marriage, stating that it’s merely a document or “a piece of paper.” However, when it comes to fatherhood, the experience is unparalleled.
“There’s nothing in this life now that I wanna do aside from if it’s for her. That’s it. I think as a dad or any parent, it’s kinda like deadset already,” Diego said.
“Like I said it was a moment for me, when I saw her, ‘Goodbye, Diego. This is now my vow to you, the rest of my love.’ And I saw that with my mom. How much she gave up. She gave up so much for my brother and I,” he reiterated.
During an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Diego conveyed a message to Hailey: “I hope you don’t judge me for my past. I hope you don’t look at me differently for the mistakes I’ve done and maybe might still do in the future but just know that I love you. And I promise that I’ll give you a life that I never had.”
In a radio interview, Diego explained the reason why they haven’t shown their baby’s face, especially on social media, just yet.
Diego shared with Gorgy Rula in DZRH that they haven’t posted their baby’s face yet. He explained that he prefers his daughter to have the autonomy to decide whether she wants to be exposed to the world of showbiz or not in the future. Diego emphasized that he wants her to be the one to make that decision.
