The 45th floor of the Shangri-La Hotel is a dedicated Family Floor, designed to cater to the needs of both parents and children. This floor features 21 themed rooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and engaging stay for families. 

Each room on this floor is not just a place to sleep but a magical space where children can let their imaginations soar. The rooms are designed with interactive themes such as treehouses, magical carriages, and airships. Parents can enjoy contemporary and sophisticated decor, while children explore imaginative decorations that celebrate Hong Kong’s culture and landscape.

One standout room is the Fisherman’s Cove guestroom, which features a single-deck bed designed to look like a traditional junk ship. Children can navigate through a rope walkway to an observation hut, play with interactive toys, and sleep in toddler-safe beds fitted with slides.

The Garden Lodge guestroom offers a Peak-facing view with a climbing deck, a log cabin-inspired bed, and walls painted with wildflower garden motifs. This room’s design promotes a sense of discovery and adventure for young guests.

For larger families, the two-bedroom suites provide king-size beds, separate bathrooms, and an extra Murphy fold-away bed. These suites come with themes like Safari Adventure, Underwater Treasure, and Hong Kong Wonders, each offering unique interactive features that make every stay unforgettable.

The Hangout is a communal hub where families can spend quality time together. It features a grab-and-go food station with healthy options, a workshop room for children’s activities, a curated book selection, and a cozy sitting room with botanical wallpaper and comfy armchairs. This space is designed to be a relaxing environment where families can bond and create lasting memories.

The hotel understands the practical needs of traveling families. The Pantry on the Family Floor provides essentials like a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, and other necessary appliances. On the eighth floor, the hotel offers a pool deck with a Waterplay area designed for children up to six years old.
