In an interview with ABS-CBN News,  Donny shared how excited he was to be a part of this project and said, “I’m so happy that this also has a lot of fans from everywhere, hindi lang sa Pilipinas. Sobrang excited ako na mag-start, especially with direk and, of course, ABS-CBN Films. I just can’t wait to show everyone a different take on ‘He’s Into Her,’ kasi inspired ito by the novel.”

The talent actor added, “We will really do our best. I want to tell everyone right now that we will really do whatever it takes to portray the Dave and Max that they envision in the novel to the show, because we don’t want to upset anyone and ourselves as well.”
