Elon Musk Takes Over Twitter

Elon Musk, the new Twitter owner, strutted inside the headquarters grinning from ear to ear while carrying a sink. The $44B twitter takeover resulted in the Twitter CEO, CFO, legal affairs and policy chief being axed. The said people was said to have been escorted out the building right away.
“The bird is freed,” Elon tweeted after the acquisition was a done deal Thursday afternoon. He is still vocal on prioritizing free speech on Twitter, but of course, there will still be rules in place. The world’s richest man claimed he did this to “help humanity.”
Even though there are many who are not excited about the prospect of Donald Trump returning to Twitter after his permanent suspension last year due to his supporters’ attempted insurrection at the US Capitol, some top creators are excited about the prospect of proper monetization finally coming to Twitter.
“Also, Twitter should find a way to compensate/monetization partner with its top creators. Like every other social media app,” part of Zuby’s tweet said. The rapper currently has 884k Twitter followers. In the Philippines, Twitter has been instrumental for fueling alternative views particularly those on politics.
It is important to note that Elon Musk’s Twitter purchase, if it leads to monetization, will most likely help active creators on the platform level-up their content. However, if he really does push through with doing away with 75% of the staff, many of those who know the bird app really well and have been with the company for over a decade, then it might cause a massive disruption in the app’s operations.
Let’s see in about a year if the business mogul is on track to double Twitter’s revenue by 2025, just as he reportedly boasted to investors.
