Listed under SVN Saunders Dantzler Real Estate, the Entrelagos mansion also dubbed as the “Jumanji House” made the headlines around May 2022.

The extraordinary luxury custom estate home is located on a private peninsula in the town of Windermere, Florida, specifically between Lake Sheen and Lake Tibet. Though the town is part of Orange County, it is still within the Orlando Metropolitan Statistical Area. Saunders Real Estate senior advisor Richard Dempsey is in charge and remarked that this is his first time seeing such a property of this magnitude.

Originally purchased via Entrelagos Holdings Corp., Philippines-born Virgina Dio and her now-deceased husband were hands on in the contruction of the property, even employing Filipino artisans back home and having the ornate carvings and furnitures shipped from the Philippines to the USA.

Contruction took 10 years and was completed in 1999 after having spent 48 million. Since the homeowner is now based in Hongkong, her daughter who is based in another area of Florida manages it.

According to Dempsey, mother of pearl and leaded glass were used for the inlay of the handmade doors. A map of the Philippine archipelago will greet you at the entryway as it is the mosaic tile design of that large area. Luzon island, where the Dios hail from, is made distinct on the map via a huge star.

The columns of the 30-foot-by-30-foot 2-stoy rotunda library is a visual feast with its carvings of the masterworks, looking like actual books you can grab and examine. The master bedroom features an elaborate bespoke fireplace, an en-suite consisting of a jacuzzi receptacle, and a kitchenette with a wet bar and a coffee station.

Highlights of the massive property include a private peninsula, 12 bedrooms and 13.5 baths, 11,048 square feet gross living area, ornate hand carving throughout the home, spa, cabana bar, sauna, 14,706 square feet or 2.44 acres’ total lot area and floor area combined, private pool, boat dock, and 24-hour guarded security. The Entrelagos mansion will set you back $25 million if you decide to purchase it.

Priced way above Shaquille O’Neal’s mansion which is only $16.5 million, it is considered the priciest single-family home listing in the Orlando market. As of writing, it is still available on the market.
