Esprit Philippines Launch Their ‘Create Joy’ Collection for the Holiday Season

As if to answer the question in people’s minds, “Where is Esprit now?,” Esprit held an event at Glorietta 3 with a release of their holiday collection, ‘Create Joy’.
The novel collection features bold colors which captures the hopeful spirit of the season, in line with its vision of providing classic designs for the next generation.
This event revisits the 80’s nostalgia of the brand, while giving homage to Esprit’s core value in manifesting joy via simple, sustainable, and chic ensembles.
The exclusive distributor of Esprit in the country has always been Cinderella Marketing Corporation upon its earliest introduction here. Tim Yap hosted Esprit’s relaunch with the attendance of the following Cinderella Marketing Corporation executives: Arthur Coronel, president; Malou de Venecia, director of marketing and communications; and Richard Santos, vice president for international brands.
Celebrity make-up artist and photographer Justin Louise Santos was in attendance, along with the brand ambassadors of the ‘Create Joy’ collection: Janica Reloxe, Andre Lagdameo, Shine Mory, Dylan Menor, Chinchin Obcena, Marc David, Aaliyah Benisano, Reisha Ferrer, Joanna Abella, Patty Velasco, Angel Onrubia, Princess Khayzel, Nina Mory, Rachel Franken, Kimberly Rios, Danica Ontengco, etc.
It can be recalled that the brand originated in 1968, when Susie and Doug Tompkins began to retail the brand via their estyate car’s trunk. This was in San Francisco, Calfornia, USA.
Eventually, in 1971, they met Michael Ying in Hong Kong. The latter eventually helps them establish and register the company under the name Esprit de Corps, becoming its first group chairman and primary shareholder.
