The latest iteration of Huawei’s user interface brings a host of exciting features and practical functionalities, designed to enhance every aspect of the user experience. From personalized themes and innovative camera tools to enhanced privacy protection and seamless multitasking, EMUI 14 on the HUAWEI nova 12 Series sets a new standard for smartphone innovation.

A new level in smartphone technology

Boasting a powerful 108MP camera, sleek designs, and unmatched performance benchmarks, the HUAWEI nova 12 SE and 12i aim to revolutionize the mobile user experience. The camera’s large F1.9 aperture and 1/1.67-inch sensor ensure exceptional clarity and precision, even during low-light conditions, thanks to innovative nine-in-one-pixel fusion technology, promising vibrant and true-to-life images in any environment.

Both the device models also feature a large battery capacity, with the added convenience of HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo technology. This advanced charging capability minimizes wait times, offering users a significant battery boost of up to 62% in just 30 minutes. With these features combined, users can expect not only stunning photography but also seamless performance, ensuring they can stay connected and productive without being tethered to a power outlet for extended periods.

Improving the user customization experience one feature at a time

With an extensive array of exciting features and practical functionalities, EMUI 14 is meticulously crafted to elevate every interaction you have with your device, ensuring each moment is not only more enjoyable but also more efficient.

One of the highlights of having EMUI 14 on your device is its ability to be extremely customizable. With options to choose from magazine, poster, and headline themes, EMUI 14 lets you express your unique style and personality like never before. Having this at hand means you can say goodbye to one-size-fits-all interfaces found in many of the smartphones being bought today.

For a more dynamic personalization experience, the HUAWEI nova 12 series running EMUI 14 also offers interactive themes, which include utilization of emojis for your lock screen and homescreen wallpapers.

Taking photography to the next level

With the introduction of a new line of phones and a fresh interface, several enhancements and quality-of-life changes have also been made to its cameras. For instance, the camera toolbox is a new feature which came with the release of EMUI 14. Users can simply click on the arrow right below the shutter, and they can conveniently set or adjust their camera’s effects without blocking the view they want to capture.

This approach ensures that users can effortlessly enhance their photos with ease, eliminating any unnecessary steps or distractions in the process.

Multitask better and faster

Other new features come with EMUI 14, and both are geared towards having a more streamlined way of multitasking, regardless of where you are or what you’re doing on your device.

Live view lets you access real-time task summaries directly from the upper left corner of the status bar. It offers a dynamic display of information like call duration and multi-screen collaboration status. By clicking on the Live View capsule, you can expand it into a card state to view detailed information and perform common actions, such as pausing or stopping tasks, all without interrupting your workflow. Currently, users can take advantage of live view with apps like screen recording, HUAWEI share, video calls, and HUAWEI print.

The Card Folder feature allows users to enhance their device’s home screen by pinching the desktop with two fingers and adding cards from the service widgets. These not only make your home screen look unique and personalized to your tastes, but also provide quick access to app information. Users have the flexibility to stack the cards or change their order simply by dragging them around, offering an efficient way to organize their home screen layout.

Safeguarding digital privacy with ease

Privacy protection is very important to have, especially in today’s digital age. For its part, HUAWEI continuously enhances its security features to ensure a safer and more secure experience for its users. With the ability to view app permissions and control tracking activities in the Settings, users have greater autonomy over their digital footprint. Additionally, the Image Privacy feature allows users to remove private information from images, safeguarding personal data and enhancing privacy protection.

In an era where data breaches and privacy violations are all too common, HUAWEI’s focus on privacy protection resonates strongly with younger generations, namely millennials and Gen Z. By prioritizing user privacy and providing tools to control and manage personal data, Huawei ensures that everyone can enjoy a safer and more secure digital experience on their devices.

Stay connected with HUAWEI’s App Gallery

In line with the introduction of the HUAWEI nova 12 SE and nova 12i, users can rely on Huawei’s AppGallery to stay connected and access their favorite apps seamlessly. The AppGallery offers a vast selection of apps across various categories, ensuring users can find everything they need for communication, productivity, entertainment, and more. For Filipinos, the AppGallery already houses many of the apps needed for daily activities. This includes the likes of Shopee, Lazada, BPI, GCash, and more!
