Pétale Tea, Singapore’s first blooming tea specialist, presents a new collection of “Storytelling Tins” at its upcoming pop-up in Takashimaya and online through their website. Each tin is designed around a core value, such as Celebration, Empowerment, Resilience, and many more, that contain blooming floral teas that encourage mindfulness, intentional gifting, and emotional connection.

This launch also marks the start of the initiative “Your Blooming Tea, Her Tomorrow”, where $3 from every tin sold will be donated to Daughters of Tomorrow, a Singapore-based charity supporting underprivileged women in their return to the workforce.

Each of the ten values in the collection reflects a specific emotional experience:

  • Celebration: Tea is often shared to mark meaningful moments; birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, or simply “we made it through another week.” By foregrounding Celebration, each cup becomes a personal ceremony to honour wins, big or small.
  • Dreams: Watching a tea bloom in hot water is a visual metaphor for unfolding potential. This value encourages dreamers to keep imagining what’s next—be it a goal, a journey, or a creative vision.
  • Elegance: From hand-picked petals to a delicate teapot, blooming tea invites grace into daily rituals. Elegance represents the quiet luxury of making everyday moments feel special.
  • Empowerment: Choosing to pause and savour a cup of tea is an act of self-care and reflection, clarity, and a return to your inner strength, especially in busy lives.
  • Gratitude: Even a simple cup of tea can prompt appreciation. This value is about noticing what’s going well and using that awareness to shift your outlook.
  • Growth: Just as a tea bud slowly unfurls, personal growth often happens gradually and stands for quiet transformation, encouraged by small, mindful steps.
  • Love: Tea connects – from parent-child chats to evenings with friends, this value celebrates the emotional bonds formed over a shared pot.
  • Passion: Every blend is crafted with intention and care. Passion honours the beauty of creating something meaningful and encourages others to pursue what lights them up.
  • Resilience: Life isn’t always smooth, but tea can offer a moment of calm. Resilience represents emotional stamina, reminding us we can bloom even through difficulty.
  • Wish: Brewing tea can be an act of hope. Wish invites reflection and imagination—planting seeds for something better, however small.

By intertwining emotional storytelling with aesthetically pleasing visuals and intentional gifting, Pétale Tea invites customers to experience tea as a moment to reflect, reconnect, and bloom.

The full product range includes Classic Storytelling Tins (8 blooming tea servings + 50–80g of unique blends), Petite Tins (2 blooming tea servings), and exclusive gift bundles featuring teaware and tea bars.

Founded in 2015 by Rosemary Kwa, a tea curator with over 20 years in F&B and retail, Pétale Tea was born from a deeply personal belief: that tea is more than a drink—it’s a ritual of care. After over a decade working in a renowned tearoom, Rosemary combined her hospitality expertise with a newfound entrepreneurial drive to create a brand that speaks to the modern desire for purpose, reflection, and connection.
